Someone on Twitter said it was for Deathloop but no idea if that's true.
 
So Microsoft let Sony say price second but open pre-orders first... interesting strategy.

I think Sony were like "fuck it just rush the pre orders ASAP before Xbox opens theirs."

They are speculating a norwegian price of the PS5 to be Kr. 5.499,- with the digital only being 1.000,- cheaper.
I'm used to multtiplying the $ by x10, but this is even Kr. 500,- more than that. Kr. 5.499,- converted to US dollars is $712,43 with the going rate.

PlayStation games have not gone up in price in 14 years. Its time. Most forms of entertainment (Netflix, movie tickets, music subs, etc) all raise prices fairly regularly over the years. Gaming isn't sustainable at such low prices forever.

Imagine how pc dark souls fans most of felt, when they saw that demon souls can be played on pc, they must of been cheering, jubilant.

In some ways, you could argue its a great way of marketing the game to sell ps5s or pissing of a lot of people.

Something wrong is going on with Sony - this presentation was really good but all the info post-presentation ... wtf? Was it rushed so badly? WTF with preorders - they did say we will get inf earlier. My hype went down a lot because I am afraid another PS3 and the power of cell thing...

It would make more sense for Sony to port Bloodborne to PC first, and keep Demon's Souls only on PS5 for a few years. Tempt them PC Souls fans.

I dont think You understsand. The whole industry were not ready for this big transition. These are games that were all under development with the current gen in mind and moved to ps5.

But dont be naive to think that this cross-gen shit is here to stay. Obviously there Will nextgen only games
 
Alright Sony just get it over with and tell me how much I'm gonna have to pay to play The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PS5.

Very dissapointed with PS5

Here are my reasons why
Cross Gen - I don't even mind that Spiderman was cross gen as it's using the same city and engine. Sackboy I expected that to be cross gen anyways due to basic graphics. But Horizon being cross gen is a huge dissapointment for me. I assumed all 2021 Sony published games would be full next gen only games. Now it has me questioning God of War 2, for something that would have hyped me especially that it's 2021, now making me question if it's cross gen as well.

Game Price Hike - UK price for a game is £70, to be fair I've never bought games digital anyways and retail is cheap if you can wait a few months but I'm questioning does this mean I have to wait even longer for cheap games as I usually buy games at £35ish.

Final Fantasy 16 - The footage just didn't excite me, not just the underwhelming graphics but not a fan of the setting.

PS4 Enhanced Games - No mention of PS4 games getting patched. In fact are people forced to buy Spiderman Remastered if they want to get a upgrade for that game, if PS4 Spiderman owners don't get a free patch that would be a huge blow.

I'm still buying a PS5 day one but I think I will hold off buying any games and play my PS4 backlog especially with the few extra games on that PSN Plus collection.
