Woke up 1h ago to the physical edition sold out on amazon... snagged up the digital edition, which seems to also be sold out now (thank Gaben that I decided to just order the digital one instead of waiting).
I'm 100% digital anyways and the Series X can do bluray movies... or I'll later on trade in my digital for a physical edition. At least I have one on launch day.

They announced pre-orders were going up tomorrow, but they ended up going up today.
If their PlayStation 4 first party titles are getting patches for the PlayStation 5, then it would have been great for them to show it today before opening up pre-orders. Would have also been nice to show off some console features, too.

Alright I think I'm good. Got two PS5 consoles coming (both disc) will give one to someone if Walmart comes through. Have 2 controllers coming, a camera, a media remote, and the new headset. The only thing I couldn't get was the charge stand but that's ok as I have lots of USB-C chargers because of my Pixel 4

surprised the digital had less available. I mean they're cheaper and it has to be harder to make the disc version but I guess Sony wasn't fully confident that the hardcore launch buyers would like being forced to buy digital.

There was through a hidden backdoor link. I bought one from it but wouldn't be surprised if it was canceled or they stopped it short and have the remaining stock for the official preorder. Would be embarrassing for them to be out of stock before anyone has a chance through the normal way.
