Even if they did release some games on PS, they could still go exclusive for a lot of well known games.Probably still release on PS just like Minecraft. A bit different but we'll see...

Starfield will be ready next year in all likelihood.
MS just needs to port Quake Champions to console and slap it on GamePass.
Do you know how many studios you could start with 7.5 Billion dollars?
ms just bought off a scalper
You can’t be this obtuse look at the studios they just brought in forget about the IPs which are all big and GOTY contenders. Those studios can now all work on new IPs and other things with Microsoft financial backing. Not to mention these are games with single player components to them something people claim they’re lacking.Microsoft buying a declining company for 7.5 billion.
It just works.
please quote them or didn't happen. My favourite part of the thread so far is Sony fans begging MS to let their IPs be multiplat. The same posters who always say "if you want to play Sony IPs, buy a PS"
Is this "anti-consumer", MS?
Trying to keep up with the narratives.
Doom was always a pc franchise anyway.
7.5 Billion...How many studios with Bethesda's IPs (Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, etc.) and intellectual property (idTech)? None.
next, Apple buys Sony.Your move Sony.
Exactly lolSo people are going to pretend they love Bethesda now?![]()
Yeah, lets acquire Zenimax/Bethesd and let them continue releasing titles for the competition instead of making them exclusive to our platform, it makes sense
You guys acting like Bethesda games aren't trash these days. I'm personally not a fan of buggy messes of games.

Arguably the most pro-consumer thing to do is give options of where and when people can play games, and Microsoft has been second to none in this regard, whether it’s PC releases and cross play or keeping their IP on competitor systems. I fully expect my gamepass sub to get way more value now and I don’t even need to buy an Xbox. Feels pretty pro-consumer to me, but I never planned to go PS5 only.
TBF, this is most likely the biggest gaming news of the year.11 pages in 48 minutes, this is biblical.
No, take Minecraft. Not gonna lie... if these franchises all go console exclusive this would be a big hit for SONY.
