Starfield was a make your own fun game. If only it had coop. What could have been with Starfield...controls ate dicks on console though.

I don't think Dishonored 3 was ever in development in any capacity beyond just being on a roadmap in the same way X-Men and X-Men 2 are currently in Insomniac Games' roadmap going into the 2030s. To further prove this point, Arkane Austin was closed while they were trying to put together a pitch for a new Dishonored, or any kind of singleplayer immersive sim for that matter; meanwhile, Arkane Lyon was and continues to be busy with Blade.
After Starfield, I have zero hope in The Elder Scrolls VI or Fallout 5. Regarding Fallout 3 Remastered, while certainly the most exciting project they have lined up for the future, it is far away according to NateTheHate, who just days ago claimed: "It'll be a while before we see it."

Oh damn didn't know that about Arkane Austin. Dishonored isn't in my top 10 favorites but still up there as a very fun series and wish there was more. No problem if some people are cautious on the next ES or Fallout but for me personally ES3 to ES5 along with FO3, FO4 and NV are my favorite games of all times modded so I'm faithful enough that ESVI would be among my top 7 favorite games of all times even before it's released.
For Fallout 3 Remaster, him saying in a while could still mean 1 year later since 1 year could be pretty long depending on the person. I'm hoping he just meant it'll be a while as in next within the next few months or this year instead of being multiple years.

Unfortunately, they closed one of the best studios even after releasing an excellent game (Hi Fi Rush), Starfield didn't live up to expectations and Redfall was crap.
Apart from these negative points, it was a good acquisition for MS
