On MS I keep getting "Something went wrong. Please try again in a while." when trying to check out. Anyone else make it past this?
 
Phantom drops or no phantom drops...Just don't tell me a specific time and have me waiting here like an ass expecting it to be true. My F5 hand is getting sore.

Yep, that's just about where I am with this! Would have been nice to grab one, but I can wait until there's a game i really want, and pick one up then.

Managed to get Series X through MS Store. It was a crashy laggy pray to Jesus good time.
didn't bother configuring payment plan or adding accessories for fear of something going wrong, so big paypal payment coming at me Nov 10. But it worked, and confirmation email from MS Store, complete with order number etc. Best of luck everyone!
 
The MS store is a super pain in the ass because I think they are really getting hammered and it's slow, crashes and keeps giving errors but it seems like that's where it's most people are having any success. Seems like the fucking bots cleared everywhere else out the second it went live.
 
Honestly, this was way harder than PS5 pre-order. freaking panic attack for 10-15 minutes. Thanks to Microsoft for not publishing their purchase links and details so no fucking bot could attempt it. I had no luck elsewhere but Microsoft themselves.
 
This would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

I cannot believe that Microsoft - cloud compute kings of the universe - can't keep a site up and working for a preorder time and date THEY set.
 
I was finally able to get an order through on the MS store.


WalMart: allowed me to add to cart, but always would say out of stock during payment
Gamestop: got to payment and then out of stock
Best Buy: never opened up to pre orders is seems
Amazon: dogs, dogs, and more dogs

But GAF has been telling me for months that nobody wants a Series X and that it should be super easy to pre-order one.

Been at this for 40 minutes refreshing various pages, about at my wit's end.

Yeah, if you try to add it to the cart, it says you already added it to the cart, but when you try to view cart, it says it's empty. At one point I was able to get the cart to show it in the cart finally, but when I tried to check out, it then claimed my cart was empty again.
 
I just bought a Box X Series X off ebay for $5,999.99 plus $49.99 shipping.
