I find it funny that I have an Xbox Series X and you and other of the green team don't.
 
I wonder how much trouble it's going to be to get a Zen 3 when those come out. I'm probably going to have to go to Microcenter if I want one of those.

What are you talking about? I got one at the MS store, it was just kind of a pain since the site kept lagging and crashing.

I tried around then to help a friend get one and I couldn't get in. I couldn't get Best Buy to load the page on my PC after a while, just got an oops message. Much later, I found out it sold out, likely using their mobile app. While my PC couldn't get access to any item on Best Buy after a while, their mobile app loaded right up and showed the Series X gone.

I finally got in to Gamestop.com, got approved for All Access, and then couldn't complete the checkout process because they were sold out, even though, I was able to get to the complete order screen.

All kinds of fun.

I forgot to account for time zones. Also, it wasn't meant as a gotcha statement, though I'm sure that's how it came across. Sorry about that.

Nice to ignore the rest of the main point. There are posts all over twitter showing that MS's own pre order pages were screwed up for not being able to handle the traffic. Just like other retailer's pages, they had their own issues, so I doubt buying up or managing the other retailer's pages would have worked out better.

I'm getting both like a madman :messenger_sunglasses:. First time since PS3/Wii I've bought two consoles that released around the same time frame. Series X for multiplats for sure.
 
Got mine through Shopto in the U.K.

They have stuck a 1 per household rule on the PS5 and won't confirm day 1 release but the Xbox Series X seems to be confirmed already. fingers crossed anyway.

No it wasn't.

Amazon, didn't show up anything and when it showed up - all gone.
Game - website fucked up completely for a few hours, when it went back - bam, no stock.
Microsoft - slow as hell, then error as they couldn't process the payment.

Overall no one was ready for this madness.

Go with your gut. I think the question is do you like gamepass? Gamepass saved me from switching, mainly after yesterday's announcement. I like Bethesda and Machine games, so knowing their games will be day 1 gamepass sealed the deal.
