I'm a Muslim, and that doesn't justify killing. It's disrespectful, but you don't just kill someone for being disrespectful to your faith/religion.
There is a fun story in this regard happened to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), much more disrespectful than this. A pagan Bedouin entered a mosque while the prophet (PBUH) and his friends inside, and wanted to insult them all. What do you think he did? He went to a corner "inside" the mosque, and simply peed! His friends were outraged and wanted to attack him, but the prophet held them back and said:"let him finish." After that pagan Bedouin finished, he ordered some of them to go to wash and clean the spot! The bedouin himself was shocked, and came to him and said "this is a prophet's mercy". And suddenly became a Muslim.
Anyway, hope the best to all of you here, and don't wanna read that thread after like seen 3-4 posts there. I'm not here to waste my time in politics and negativity. Would rather buy an Xbox.

seems like most of the tags going out lately are negaitve. also curious as to the "report me for xxx on date", is there a time limit on those where the tag gets removed with good behavior? I feel like I asked this but I can't remember if it was answered

Today I discovered I was given a warning for "console warring". No explanation about what post caused it, no reference to what forum rules I breached, no chance of appeal, no information about the moderator that did it so I could talk to him and understand.
The only post I can think of that may have caused the trouble was in the "Valve and Xbox partnership coming soon?" thread where I posted this (and I'm paraphrasing because it was deleted):
"Being an Xbox fan these days means getting excited for corporate news instead of games. Soon enough all of you will be buying suspenders and eating breakfast while watching Bloomberg on the TV."
After the things I've read (and been called) in this forum, I can't believe this is cause for a ban warning and I don't agree at all. If this aligns with the forum rules (which I doubt) I don't accept said rules because they attempt against the most elementary freedom of speech. In fact, I'm so against the whole procedure being applied to me that I will be leaving the forum entirely today.
With my departure nothing of value was lost, besides my respect for NeoGAF as a platform. I registered looking for the exact opposite of this kind of moderating policies and I was clearly wrong.
EDIT: Aaaaand the thread where this was posted got deleted and my post buried in the complaints bin. Bye NeoGAF indeed.

But more seriously, take a quick tempered person's advice. Just think about it a little, before you make a big decision on anything. A buzz for console warring is not the worst thing and... that comment is a bit inflammatory, you know?
In my observation (in before I get tagged again), the mods are cool people, just trying to do their jobs, and keep this forum a fun place to be. Particularly in regards to console warring, which has gotten out of hand this year. It isn't about being like Reset, and they take great pains to respect freedom of speech.
