They might feel like more powerful weapons to start with, but Souls games are about the way you match your stats with your weapons. That's where the real power comes from. Don't worry about any of the freebies, you won't need them. Find a weapon with a look and a move set you like, and level your stats for it, along with upgrading the weapon itself.

Idk man i couldn't bring myself to enjoying shadow of the colossus on ps2 nor ps3. If the remake wasn't done I'd have never enjoyed it and blue point made it and struck gold. They are about to strike gold once again with demons souls remake.

Kinda bugs me the moaning about "jank" in the original Demon's, when the truth is none of FROM's Souls games of the PS360-era were especially slick. None of them ran at a constant 30 and mostly launched with serious bugs and issues that were patched out post-release; Dark Souls compounding frog curse in the sewers being a memorable example.

The kills at 02:43 and 05:06 are glorious.
She sheer savagery of the first one, sweeping the feet from under the demon and then killing him with one brutal, BRUTAL blow of the mace when it was one the ground is well and truly how you 'get shit done'.
And the second was so cold, impaled on a steel sword, booted away and the church pew smashed to pieces in the process
Those exact instances you pointed out, stood out to me as well.
I wonder if there will be various types of destruction, like the in-engine dragon trailer at the reveal when it was crushing the castle?

I guess you can switch on the fly to the PS3 graphics mode like the Kurosawa mode in Ghost of Tsushima.
I wonder if it will be the same 4K resolution and not drop to the 720p? I assume it will be all the PS3 assets just in 4K/60.

I doubt that it's assets swap, that could mess with game logic...or maybe they went the extramile and did it. I think it's most probably just a color tint filter.

The best part really is that, the footage seen, captured was done in dynamic 4K60 mod! The cinematic 4K30 mode might melt our eyes!
