Yeah, it's a great IP. They need to bring the game to Switch. Should make a true console game at somepoint as well. In general they would be wise to leverage their relationship with Cygames.

Seems like they did a small run a while back. I used to have a physical copy before I went 100% digital on Switch.

I just finished the 1st No More Heroes and just loved this game, each boss fight were unique and fun.
I especially loved the boss fight with Jeane, she is straight up boxer and love how she dodges my attacks Hajime no Ippo style.
I also surprised that just like Drakengard/Nier you need to get all weapons to get the true boss/ending.

I'm really interested in where the story goes for Age of Calamity given what the demo had in it, been watching a few video's and theirs some things I hadn't noticed until pointed out. I'm kind of afraid of the ending just being a good version where everybody lives happily ever after due to time travel shenanigans, which I hope doesn't happen but when they have a time traveling egg and 2 champions on each of the divine beasts it's hard not to be worried.

You know, after thinking about it a bit I might be okay with an "alternate history" sort of take on the events that preceded Breath of the Wild.
We basically know all we need to know about the events that led to the game itself because of the recovered memories. Retreading that ground with some generous filler mixed in to pad it out for musou game length would almost be a waste, really.
We've got BotW2 coming for expanding on that story in a meaningful way. A what-if scenario, supervised by Nintendo, isn't really a bad route for this game to take. Plus it lets them really fill out the roster.

Probably a dumb question, but if the Switch is in Sleep mode...it still consumes battery right? Just really slowly?
Had my Lite in a drawer, full charge and hadn't used it for a month. Went to fire it up today and it was just dead. Was worried I had a battery problem, but pretty sure I had it in Sleep Mode.

No. Even if they announced it I don't think it would make much of a difference. If there is a Switch Pro model then it's obviously aimed more at the core audience that cares about that sort of stuff, the Switch has long entered the big casual wave that'll carry it across the 100 million unit mark and those people are more interested in getting a Switch model at a cheap price.

Look for that in a January Direct if they're launching in Spring, a July direct if they're launching in Fall, etc. Basically, I don't expect them to want more than three months lead time with their announcement. It worked for the Switch, and they won't want to fix what's not broken IMO. *shrug*

They did that for the Switch Lite and the Switch and joy-con revisions as well, in Summer of '19. I really think they want to hold those kind of things until they're close/imminent.

I don't see a hardware revision being released before April. It'll likely be around a month from announcement to release.
I imagine we see either Metroid Prime Trilogy or a 2D Metroid next year. Not both. If they're really feeling crazy they might even mention Metroid's 35th anniversary. The Wii hybrid emulator they used for Galaxy is probably the vehicle for Metroid-rendering via emulation with main code and changes for analog control running natively. I imagine they planned to release it with Prime 4 but who knows how far away that game is.

They did release the first Prime game and Metroid Fusion on the same day all those years ago. It wouldn't really be beyond belief for them to release Prime Trilogy and a new 2D game in the same year. Especially if Prime Trilogy has been done for ages like people keep saying it's been.

I only have two complaints. The backlog is expensive (Most first-party games still full price), and I REALLY need to buy a Pro Controller.
I thought using the joycons in the grip would be okay, but man, they make my hands ache. Too small for me.
I'll be able to get one next week (With some more games too).

I finally beat it! Cleared the room on the right first and then killed it, it was pretty easy like that.
Now I can finally continue enjoying the game. So far is pretty good, it's my first JRPG ever.

It was 11/17 (Prime) and 11/18 (Fusion), but yeah it's amazing since there hadn't been a Metroid game since Super and then there were two at once. It was my introduction to the series outside of Samus being in Smash Bros, can't imagine how it must have felt for a long time fan of the series.
I will also maintain that issue of Nintendo Power remains the best one to this day. November 2002 issue # 162.

Gotta be honest, the system is pretty complex for a person that has never played JRPG's. But since I'm on casual mode, it's more or less ok and not frustrating. I plan on picking up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the future, hope it has some kind of casual mode.

On the Switch? If so, Bayonetta 1, BOTW, Fire Emblem Tree Houses. If no only on the Switch, I basically grew up with FPS and WRPG.
I'm not too worried, XC1 actually feels like I'm playing an MMO sometimes.

I finished the Switch version of Xenoblade last week. Game is still fucking great, and the remaster is fantastic. The game totally deserved it. Though.... man is it a grind at the end. That didn't change. I think I clocked in at like... 15 hours less than I did the last time, which is alarming in its own right.

I never had to grind, but I also did pretty much every quest. I was quite a few levels higher than the last boss.
Also, Xenoblade appears to be $38 at Best Buy right now for My Best Buy members, which is a steal for it. Everyone go buy it.

I think so. As multiple outlets have pointed out, they didn't need to renew the specific HeartGold/SoulSilver trademarks for just merchandise or use of the characters. This points to a greater likelihood of the actual games coming back in some form.
Personally, I would be happy with an upscaled and sightly cleaned up version for Switch. It'd be cool if they just remade the games for Switch, but I don't want them making too many improvements to what are already the best Pokemon games ever made.

I am happy that there seem to be at least some people who also like Let's Go. After all the ridiculous amount of hate Let's Go, Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu have gotten, I thought that basically no one liked those games. But I find them a lot of fun and I really do enjoy the quality of life improvements made there (which many hated, apparently). I do agree that the next Let's Go games could be harder, though.
