What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

Oh, a new generation is upon us. My PS5 is "shipped" but my copy of Demon's Souls is still "preparing to ship." Don't leave me hanging, Sony.
 
Bestbuy Canada charged me a week or so ago for the Series X. Still says "Canada Post: in progress" since then with no update.

I have zero faith in Bestbuy AND the 11th is remembrance day here and everything is closed for the holiday lol
 
My XSX got its UPS label on saturday in the netherlands. It has to come to Germany, but there are no changes in the shipment progress and it is declared as a sheduled delivery.

The tracking details are constantly updated, but not the progress itself. UPS tracking was already very inacurate with my One X warranty case not so long ago.

What are my chances that UPS will deliver today?

The easiest way to verify would be a short call. There is always a possibility that a store is closed, because of a covid case on the staff.

We should all be thankful for those delivery guys, who bring us our next gen toys in this shitty covid time!

Before Sony made this post, my local EBgames called me that my pre-ordered was ready for pick up at November 12th and made appointment to pick it up at specific time.

Gamers who have pre-ordered for pick-up at their local retailer should still be able to do so at their designated appointment time, under the retailer's safety protocols. Please confirm the details with your local retailer.

(UK) Have a tracking number for DPD, number isn't pulling anything back currently. Was hoping for a 'we've got your order' at least.
 
I don't think the XSX I ordered have been shipped yet. Which kinda pisses me of, even if they'll ship it today I'll probably get it on Wednesday at earliest. :messenger_anguished::messenger_frowning_

Still on track to get both the PS5 and Miles Morales on the 12th from Amazon. I feel really bad for everyone who is not getting their pre-orders on time or not at all. :messenger_crying:

Canada here. As of this moment :

- amazon :Nothing . We will email you when we ship it. For both ps5 and Xbox
- Best Buy : charged my card last week but says in progress and nothing else
- Walmart : didn't charge my card yet and didn't ship it . Says expecting on the 13th

I am guessing at this point since Walmart is gonna have stock on the 12th and the 10th, all orders ( old and new ) will be placed on these days will ship on that day . either that or i am getting fucked

but amazon is what is pissing me off the most . Console release is tomorrow . Why you didn't update or charged my order for fucks sake

haven't been charged yet. My order has always said it was being delivered 10th November but I got that email yesterday morning. I ordered the Xbox at 8:11AM (went live at 8am) and I ordered the PS5 at 9:05am (live at 9am). so i definitely ordered it quick enough to get release date delivery.

did get email yesterday confirming i will get it day one. i have moved since making the preorder so its gonna go to the wrong place so i wont have it in my hand at launch anyway... although my old place is like 5min drive from here but they would need to leave it at door

just wanna mention that it is so shiet that Amazon dont let you change your pre-order address! even contacted support and they couldnt do it! what amateur made their system
 
I got the same email yesterday from amazon, just keep checking my phone for payment and emails for delivery. It should be all good i guess.
 
Just got a Gamestop shipping notification this morning. Estimated arrival date for Demon's Souls, Spider Man Miles Morales, Dual Sense, and Playstation 5 is November 15th. I am kind of irked i am not getting it on launch day. Did anyone else order from Gamestop and get a date of November 15th?
 
My XBSX shipped from GAME UK Sunday morning but no tracking info has been sent so just hoping for it to arrive tomorrow I guess.

Amazon charged me for Series X this morning. Delivery scheduled for tomorrow but hasn't shipped yet. They must be at the local warehouse.

Amazon has just charged for my XBoxSX, since the warehouse is just 10m walking from my house I expect it to arrive early tomorrow. :pie_starstruck:

Yup, mine was done on the 8/11/2020 (11/8/2020) and hasn't changed since 🤷‍♂️

It's due tomorrow but all I can see is they have a label printed 😂

I have never ordered from the MS Store, so seeing UPS as the delivery service was a bit daunting to say the least.

My XSX order from Amazon US still doesn't have a shipping date. I ordered it day 1. PS5 says it will be here Thursday. So odd. MS XSX is with FedEx and I should get it tomorrow. Damn you Amazon!

Same here, and got my order in the minute the first wave went live. Either our consoles are sitting in a warehouse down the street, or we are not getting one tomorrow. Either way I'm not too pissy about it, would just like a confirmation of a delay or something.

Live and learn. Now I know where never to pre-order a console again. Will also try my best not to buy any games from them this generation. If they cant deliver a console on launch day like their main competitors they dont deserve the business.

I think something bigger is up. Walmart fucked up too. I honestly think they didn't wanna risk selling early and they didn't want to have fed ex or whoever hold them.

neither have i, can't remember hearing anything good about UPS so i'm expecting a delay :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Mine is the same. Microsoft support told me to just wait.
 
Amazon apparently dispatched my Series S today. If that's correct, I believe until friday I receive it here. Possibly before.
