What is the status of your next-gen pre-order?

has anyone ever had UPS deliver a package on-time when tracking showed "Your package was not received at the UPS facility as originally scheduled. There may be a delivery delay."?

or deliver the package at all after that? :(
 
Got mine two days ago and just got to use it last night. Good times, but a lot of downloading.

At least yours is scheduled for today. Mine is for tomorrow. I hope that it arrives at the FedEx here later so I can go pick it up. I was charged as well

Amazon ps5 out for delivery
walmart ps5 says tomorrow but it could still update to today based on what the X did

Amazon - Out for delivery.
Walmart - Out for delivery. Must have changed between 3-8AM. Also, haven't been charged yet.
Target - Preparing (Est Nov 13th-18th).

Mine shows that too, but dont worry. My xbox from walmart/fedex didnt get into my town until like 9 am on launch day, they still brought it. I think they are doing extra deliveries or loading trucks later too.
 
For those who dont have any hope theyll get it today because their order is in a different state...

I live in Florida and my order was in Georgia then went all the way up to Indiana for some reason then arrived in my town earlier this morning.

Amazon says my PS5 will arrive by 10pm today, but it does not say out of delivery. Miles Morales and AC Valhalla updated to out for delivery however.
 
I canceled my Walmart PS5 last week because it was an extra order. When canceling it got stuck in a pending cancelation status and I had to call in to have them manually cancel. The order shows canceled and I was never charged. I noticed today in my Fedex manager I have an extra shipment listed and it is from Solutions2GO (Walmart). It looks like the PS5 is still arriving.

Should I return it if it does show up? I can't imagine trying to explain this to the outsourced phone rep is going to be fun. It took a bunch of calls over several days to get someone who could actually cancel the order.

Well mine just updated 30 minutes ago to

"Departed fedex location in Independence Kentucky" after sitting their since 1am :( and that's 500 miles away from where I live (8 hours). I think the dream I'm getting it today it dead..

Unless it shows up to my local fedex place this evening before they close at 8pm and let me pick it up.. doubt it though

Mine is in Kentucky too but it's through FedEx. Mine just says by the end of the day.
 
Amazon seems to have f@cked my order. I got charged yesterday at 3:29am so it should have been closed to shipping. I spent the whole day checking to see if it was going to ship, and then at around 5:29pm the status changed to "shipped" and I got a UPS tracking number on the status page, but I never got an e-mail saying that it shipped, in contrast to the two games I ordered separately to the console. So the package hasn't update since I got the tracking number yesterday. It seems that the label was created but is not on UPS system yet. I spent an hour chatting with customer service just now, and after two incompetent agents I was transfered to a "leadership" person, which was really helpful, and told me that she just got a message saying that all preorders were going to ship, and that she was going to keep an I on my order, and that she would be updating me by email during the day. She assured me that I'll get it. What I don't understand is why was I charged so early and still nothing.

To add to this, I preordered in September. The games I ordered are already out for delivery. The status on amazon is "Delivery appointment scheduled " at has stayed like this since 5:29pm yesterday.

No way to know. Seems just about all southern half of NY State, and more along the east coast have no shipping labels. Some in NJ, Fla, ..etc do. More the exception than the rule.

Got an Amazon notification about 2 hours ago that my PS5 and DS Remake will be delivered today!

No change to Target yet lol
 
My PS5 was just delivered. Can't open till my son gets off from work though. However, I am staring at it, a lot!

FedEx knocked on my door but all the guy had for me was the PSVR camera adapter, the wait for PS5 goes on.

Received my canceled order from Walmart I was never charged for. After 45 minutes on the phone with their call center in India they determined they will send me a shipping label in 7-14 days, then I have to call them back again, explain everything yet again and schedule a Fedex pick up. If I had known it would have been this much of a hassle I would have just kept it and not said anything instead of trying to be honest. I wouldn't mind a free PS5.

Didn't get a preorder in, but got launch night/morning orders in.

Xbox Series X-Got an order in at Microsoft.com just after midnight, got confirmation e-mail with Dec. 23rd estimated delivery. Have had pending charge on my Visa since and order status on my account is pending as well.

PS5-Got order in at costco.com a bit over an hour ago (still showing as available--members only in the US--if anyone is looking). Got confirmation e-mail and have pending charge on my Visa. The product page said estimated shipping week of 11/23.

Definitely keeping the PS5. Debating on whether to cancel the XSX. I want both consoles, but I'll be busy with PS5 exclusives and Cyberpunk for quite a while and have some home repair stuff to deal with. So may make more sense to cancel and buy one closer to Halo Infinite next year. In any case, I'll keep it for now in case something goes wrong with the PS5 Costco order.
