That doesn't seem to have been upgraded to a perm as per the reason and didn't see any discussion here. I guess either the reason or the ban length should be updated?
Caught my eye in a sea of "Reee" bans.

Not ban related but site related. The divider between post #2 and post #3 on every page is shorter than than the divider between every other post. Same with #15/16 and #30/31. See the example below. The space between 13,301 at the top of this page and 13,302 is the standard size whereas the space between 13,302 and 13,303 is shorter.

Send me to Meta GAF if that is a more appropriate venue. Just figured it was something someone on staff might be interested in.

@mods: may I ask about appaws appaws perm? I am not on board with what he said in terms of racial IQ, but the perm seems a bit harsh, imo. Especially when Cyberwzd wrote similar stuff in that horrible thread and got only a temp ban.

Apart from that shit I like the dude and would just want to know what's up there with this perm, that's all.

Hmm. I've a chromium-based browser (background) and tried in Internet Explorer and I don't get adverts - though I do get different spacing in IE. I don't care about IE, just using it because I know it's sitting on my PC in an out-of-the-box unconfigured state.

I've switched off my tracking blocker in chromium, my anti-virus on my system and also disabled my VPN which offers tracking/malware blocking functions. I still get no ads.

EDIT: Doh, as the next post mentions - it's a Gold thing. Of course. Good to know - I felt terribly exposed disabling those options on my machine!

Happy that things continue to trend in the right direction, and proud that our community makes quick distinction between the gamers just looking for a home to talk about games, welcoming them with open arms, while not giving time of day to the pearl-clutching nutjobs who try to slip in with the others.

I saw that the dude who went on the CB promo thread to criticize the contest was banned. Was he raising a ruckus somewhere else on the board? His posts on that particular thread seemed rather tame to me.
 
You don't even need the stats. You can feel it going into every thread.

Is the recent Ree drama so absolute as to speed up the (already ongoing) process that much? I haven't been keeping up with it.

It seems that severely curtailing - from what I understand - the discussion around the biggest AAA release of the year is indeed pushing people to cross over.
