Sony is removing Cyberpunk from PlayStation Store

It has no impact on existing owners who don't wish to refund the game.
I meant people who would want to buy the game still digitally. Not to mention I'm sure there are a lot of digital PS5's under someone's Christmas tree (or a scalpers warehouse somewhere).

Nonethess, I hope this opens topics of certifications and how shit Sony and Xbox have been allowing such a broken game pass on the promise of patches.

what are you talking about exactly? have you even see the console versions? the fps goes down to 15 fps lol

i loved The Witcher 3 and i played it on PC btw not PS4, so not sure what are you trying to defend here? what they did with the console versions was a scam, why didn't they show footage from it and showed only PC footage and didn't allow reviewers to show console footage? have you seen the meta-critic for PS4 and Xbox versions?
And as far as I've seen, it's gotta be a pretty high end PC to run this issue-free.

Aren't the next gen version better in terms of stability? Or maybe next gen is just as buggy.

What they could do is keep the next gen versions alive on PSN.

Oh well. That's what happens when game companies need to hit that Christmas rush, and combined with probably 90% of gamers hooked up to the net. The good old..... "don't worry gamers, just download the patch"
There are no next gen versions yet, just PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Great news, hope Cdpr learns from this lesson, otherwise they will continue lying even for cp2077 multiplayer.

Lesson: It's always better to be honest and fix the issue than lie and push through.

"Hi there. We saw how your game ran at launch, and we thought 'boy, wouldn't those guys be a GREAT fit for Crackdown 4'!"...
They saved Bethesda after Fallout 76. And that game is much worse than CP2077.

CP2077 is a good game ruined by bad greedy management decisions. Those devs are still talented

amusingly enough the pushing mods on consoles would probably save them from this level of backlash.

...that said PS4 mods are pretty mediocre compared to Xbone.

Looks like the servers couldn't cope with the large player base.

That's in stark contrast to the laundry list of issues facing Cyberpunk which range from consistent framerates in the teens on base consoles, frequent game crashes, to numerous open world bugs and gamebreaking jank that make the game literally unplayable.

If the SP is in this bad shape, just imagine what the MP will be.

Why should anyone give them slack for delibertly hiding how bad the consoles ran?

Because everyone deserves a chance? Especially companies that won Game of the decade on NeoGAF? We've had companies hide shit from consumers all the time. it's nothing new.

And no W3 was no where near this bad

It doesn't matter the scale of how bad the port is. People cried like it was the end of the world just the same. I was in those silly threads about the bog slow down and people crucifying CDPR then. Not to mention all the other AAA companies like Dice, Ubisoft, and EA... there just seems to be this overreaction to buggy state games from AAA titles. They don't get anywhere near the forgiveness as 1st party titles or Indie games.

No more than it is on any other console. And certainly not compared to the base PS4 version.

Uh?

PS5 has vastly lowered NPC count, awful shadow/texture quality and runs with dips at 1188p.

As DF said, for this game, it's PC > Series X > Series S > Stadia > PS5

It's not the hardware's fault though, this is clearly on CDPR.

Works for me, to be honest. I already got No Man Sky'd, and I've never known a CDPR game (been playin since the first Witcher on PC) to be stable on release. I was gonna wait a few months anyway. Now it looks like the early-adopter outrage will force them to make it a better game that I'll easily be able to buy at a discount when I feel like it.

You are going to have to wait a hell of a lot more than just a few months before CDPR can fix CP 2077, if it can be fixed on the PS4 and XB One even.

What I'm saying is that you are showing way too much hate for the company that screwed up by releasing the unfinished console versions. Surely they will fix it just like they did W3 (yea, I remember all the whining back then too). Instead of crucifying them to no end, why not give them a chance to fix their mistake before putting final judgement on them. Their rep being ruined forever? Really??
I don't know if they will fix the base console versions. There was supposedly that leaked investor meeting that said that they're going to try and stop the crashes and that's about it. And lots of the staff will be off until February.

They'll work on the next gen versions more I'm sure.

I might request a refund, I'm at the last mission anyway, let's try and play the system!
Takes a shitty person to get that much game out of it and take advantage of the situation and get a refund. But you do you....if you got to the last mission, you got your money's worth out of the game. Asking for a refund at that point is just scummy...but if you feel that is what you need to do go for it.

Sony has so many woke retarded people working for them

They didn't remove ark or no man sky from psn

No man's sky wasn't broken though. It was just lacking promised content that released eventually over time.

Also, how is this a "woke" move? This is more like Sony being pressured to do it after CDPR promised people they would get refunds through their digital store even though they didn't consult with Sony reps about giving refunds. So, when Sony customer service denied refunds, it made them look like the bad guy. Sony probably isn't happy about the bad PR especially since they aren't even the platform with the marketing rights to it lmao.

They specifically said they would fix the last gen versions with bug fixes and general appearance. I don't have any reason to doubt what they say. They fixed W3 just the same.

Wow of all the Game companies never in a million years would any thought that CDPR would be the 1 that this happen too wow not even Anthem or Fallout 76 was this bad that got it remove from a major Game console store wow.

I hope they didn't pay too much for their reviews. CDPR going to be swimming in debt .
They probably already sold at least 10 million copies if not more, even if they lose 1 million copies with this action they'll be just fine. I however don't want to sit in their management right now.

Whatever overeactions people had with W3 is unequivocal to the scum move CDPR pulled with this game

They sold a broken product and tried their best to hide it. That is top tier scum practice. No, not even the big pubs tried to pull that bs

They should have just made it a PC exclusive. It was their vision from the beginning. Porting to consoles has caused all of this backlash. Maybe they have enough money in their coffers to make the next one PC-only.
At this point I refuse to believe you're not a 14-year-old on his dad's account.

I
Even No Man Sky did not get booted from the store. Let that sink in guys..

i can bet your ass consumer rights in europe gave some interesting phone calls to SONY HQ

Not quite the same, I played no man's sky at launch I even get the platinum, and while lots of things that they promised didn't show up in the game, and certainly didn't live to the hype. it wasn't a bug fest. I remember a very clean experience.
