But why would people be unhappy ? It was released like 6 years ago. It would be great if more people get to play this gem. Plus, it would make a better PS5 version probably easier to make along the PC port. It's a win / win situation.

Console warriors are very odd beasts and they can get upset when more people play an exclusive on a different platform.

It is fine now yes, it took however more than 4 months to make the game even decently playable on any rig that wasn't a top of line PC.

Aw yes please, would love to replay Bloodborne at 1440p/60+fps.

Dark Souls III and Sekiro on PC spoiled me, can't go back to Bloodborne now.
 
The Uncharted Collection has pretty much hit its ceiling on sales due to age. It would be a smart move to do it. There is big money to be made there.
 
At this point I don't give a shit - if this will bring more money for Sony to make big budget games, then so be it. I'm gonna play on consoles anyway. It will be interesting in what way will this impact console sales down the line.

if bloodborne gets a pc patch before getting a PS4 Pro or PS5 patch, it would be perfect.

I mean technically its already happened with Horizon getting a PC port with interactive foliage, FOV and better visuals but i think BB is when the spirits of PS owners will truly break. My Jim Ryan hate squad will have many new members, i am sure of it.
 
I will be excited as long as they are not EGS exclusives. If they are I will hire hackers to DDOS EGS into oblivion.

to be honest it wouldn't be bad if all ps5 exes come day1 on pc, then for sure I wouldn't bother with consoles and just buy pc, but also I have in mind how sega now can't even produce one big aaa game after leaving console market
 
Ghosts of Tsushima is a biggie; that's a very recent game (hell, it's from last year)!

The others, especially Bloodborne, are quite older, but seeing GoT there (if this is true) might be suggesting that 1-2 year interval between PS5/PC releases for 1P games I was thinking and talking about a while back (and even Day-and-Date for multiplayer-centric online stuff like the TLOUII multiplayer campaign).

Sorry, but if literal Reddit and 4Chan rumors were a-okay in the past, then this should be open for discussion, too. And this one has a lot more credibility to it than most of those, considering only Jim Ryan himself has said very recently that "many more games" will be coming to PC (or something to that effect).

I'll still keep my PS5 since the obviously strategy moving forward is to port games after they've sold there, but this is amazing for picking up those games in sales way down the line. BB is still a day one, though.

Playstation is cooked. Done. Aint no fucking way it can survive as a budget fifa-box for uber casuals.

The informed gaming friend everyone has is going pc, his friends will follow. Playstation is done as a brand..

This is especially true in europe where pc and console is interchangeable and not really that different.

Lol what's with the hyperbole... This is totally the right move and yes In theory it could survive as a FIFA box for Uber casuals you know what else they play ... Call of duty those games are Uber massive plus all the free to play big guns there's like 110 million ps4 out there most of them don't buy exclusives at least at release or buy 2nd hand ... Pc market is a nice big market for Sony why is expanding ensuring Sony's survival a bad thing ? .

How fucking sad that Sony fans would be so fragile over years old ports. You played it first, you're already balls deep in other sequels or waiting for the sequel which will again be exclusive for god knows how long on your console. Why would Sony, expending audience to gamers who are clearly not that interested in the console proposed value, be a threat to PlayStation? Hell, if PC gamers enjoy Sony's games, it might actually make them interested to buy the console for playing the sequels earlier.

I can't wrap my head around how it's not a win-win situation for everyone involved.
