The risk of Barb constellations and the reality of rewarding a company after censorship isn't worth rolling on this banner. No thanks. MAYBE if ice nun ends up being the best four star DPS by a wide margin, but that's about it.

Do you already have Barbara at C6? I wouldn't mind more constellations for Fischl, but I haven't been using her much lately. That said, her and Keqing basically trivialized the electro challenge at the Meaty fight club today.
My current plan is to put 20-30 wishes on the Childe banner and see if I end up with Rosaria. Anymore than that and I'm in the soft pity range, which I want to save that for the rumored Zhongli banner. I'm not expecting Rosaria to be anything special, but I wouldn't mind a new character to play around with for a while. Rosaria will be in the standard rotation anyway, so no big deal if I miss her.

No, but I have Qiqi and Bennett, so I really don't have the desire to have barb in my team lately. I wouldn't mind more Fisschl constellations either, but it probably makes more sense for me to save up at this point.

Yeah, I don't use Barbara much these days. I feel her value kinda peaks in the early to mid-game content when you're potentially under-leveled and in need of healing, but potentially have a limited character lineup. The auto resurrect on her C6 would seem to be handy in late abyss levels, but otherwise it's hard to use a slot for her healer-only skillset.

I use her with Diluc for the constant vapes, healing from the fire grass he creates, and the attack boost from using Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. 48% attack boost every 20 seconds or so insn't anything to laugh at. One thing I've found from leveling (nearly) all of my characters is that there are always situations that pretty much any character would be useful. I haven't found one truly useless character yet, though some are obviously better, more universal, or stronger than others. Out of every character I have, I'd say Diona is probably the worst.

Agreed on Diona, I've found her awkward to use, plus I find her character to be irritating, but I'm sure there's situations and character lineups where she would be useful. I never really used Xinyan after pulling her, but that was more due to having better pyro characters. The only 4 star that I don't have is Beidou, but I can see how she would be interesting to play with her counter style.
I tend to use Xingqiu or Mona for hydro in team comps, but Barbara definitely has a lot of utility. There's a couple of characters that I used a lot during the early portion of the game that I've gone away from, but that's due more to wanting to try something new rather than those characters being "bad". This is why I would pull for Rosaria: I know she's not going to be all that great, but it would interesting to try a new character. In addition, outside of Xiangling, I don't have any other spear characters, so that would also be fresh to me.

I really like Xinyan, but she suffers from a really poorly designed kit. They wanted her to be a pyro shield character with a focus on physical defense scaling damage. Almost everything in her kit is at odds with itself, and her auto attack combo just feels awful with the animations. That said, I use her in my Childe team sometimes since her shield does a fire pulse , so it's kinda like a reverse Barbara effect. She was also pretty good with Keqing for overload shenanigans, but that only works on larger enemies since overload scatters the fuck out of smaller enemies and makes it annoying to fight them. She's actually really really good in a Geo resonance team with her physical resistance debuff and high shield uptime with Sac. Greatsword. I saw a few strong phys. damage builds with her too, but it seems hard to reach those.
I don't expect Rosaria to be top of the DPS chart, but I have a team ready for her that I want to piss around with. Ros/Beidou/Mona/Diona. I gave Mona the Sacrificial Fragments so she can have high uptime of her Taunt water DoT skill, which will allow Rosaria to freeze them and have access to their backs for her crit % buff. Diona's just there for the Cryo field and shield, heals when needed and Cryo resonance. She'll have Sacrificial bow for the high shield uptime and energy recharge. Beidou is there for her counter, Burst, and to apply superconduct to boost Rosaria's damage. I never know which weapon to give her. I've been letting her use the Skyward Pride lately but I only ever switch her in for her skills and then right back out, so she doesn't get most of the benefits of the Pride's extra DPS hits. I wish I could fit a Pyro in there for melt, but I think all things considered it's a pretty good team layout.

Were you close to a pity? Has someone calculated the odds of pulling two 5 stars on one 10 pull?
The best I did was getting Ganyu on a guaranteed pity, then pulling another Ganyu on the next 10 pull.

Yeah, i play daily since the game launched. Right now have 34k primogems saved. Pretty much just spent 9k on Ganyu banner. 100% F2P. Im just a horder of premium currency. Only spend it if i can garantee i get a character i really like. Saving it for the electro god, or maybe i pull on Klee banner since i got Venti. Klee bombs + Venti burst seems too good to pass.

Plunges are useless and work only for Xiao. For anybody else it's a waste of time designed to reduce your DPS. As always, biggest problem was uneven enemy distribution in time and space. Used Mona's ult as my main CC source and Electric Raven as an additional source of reactions. Kinda worked, still used food to get it done against lvl 95 enemies.

My team:
Fishlz - skill and burst for electro
Xynian - damage deal shield, energy orbs(sacrficial claymore) and burst spam
Sacarose(Sucrose) - energy orbs and ult spam
Kaeya - main damage dealer, energy orbs and ult spam
Can spam ults every 4~5 seconds, while Sacarose ult basically swaps away with damage and crowd control

Yes, these down periods really illustrate how stingy with rewards the devs are. Once you complete event tasks , there's no reason to do them again.
For example, there's no motivation to keep playing the current arena battle event once you complete the daily expert challenge, which for most high AR players in doable in one round and is done in few minutes. Why not give some mora for finishing it again? You could could cap the mora reward to 5-10 additional completions so players don't farm it like crazy, but it would at least be some reward for doing it again.

People would be still playing if the game gives them a reason to play. If every big patch restores world treasure boxes, I would be back playing pretty much like when I started the game. Is not that they're dumb, its just that their ass and ears are too much full of money to even listen to suggestions.
Eventually people will start losing interest althogether, they will start losing money as a result and they gonna rush to do something about it.

People would care about chests way more if there was a 0,0001% possibility of getting at least a 4☆ weapon/Max size boss gem from some random chest. Game is an always online RNGHell anyway, so hiding something interesting in 1 or 2 chests should be trivial for MiHo.

I don't even need the chests to give me primos....just refresh the chests so I have something to hunt during the down time. I have 10 levels left for battle pass this run (after today's weekly reset) and then any banner content from tomorrows banner. This weekend was the first time since release day that I didn't do my daily quests. This is also my last BP run to get a rank 5 blood sword and rank 5 catalyst on one of my sub accounts.
Had a blast with monster hunter over the weekend maybe I will give genshin a break. After I pull Tartaglia of course

But I'm very intrigued with Inazuma/housing/PS5 Patch. Not from a gameplay perspective, Hell naw. I find it kinda fascinating with how much milking MiHo can get away. I'm in for the lolz and tears of people who complain, but continue to play. I wonder when MiHo will ease up on rewards and when player base will move on. And if those trends will affect each other. Fascinating, really.

Only one more day, then new banner (4PM Pacific I think). I'm up to just shy of 8k gems and 10 wishes, hopefully can get a Childe constellation and C2 Rosaria. Might be wishful thinking, but that's my hope.
Challenge was actually kinda tough today. I ended up trying twice with my "default" team but couldn't kill them in time for the expert challenge, so I had to swap in Ganyu for Fischl and use the freeze shenanigans like in the hint. It's insane how much Ganyu trivializes content in this game, even now. And I barely have her built out still.
