Yeah I think my prediction might be a stretch especially considering that Resogun has 84, which was my #1 PS4 game for pretty long time at the start of it's generation.

But nevermind the Metacritic I gotta support my countrymen and be hopeful that the game delivers the goods.

I think it will.

Voted 70-80. The new previews are making me think it is on the higher end so I will go with 78.

I didn't want to read the previews too much because of spoilers and taking away from a game I might wanna play, but the first few hours look promising to the previews. I hope the rest of the game can deliver as well and maybe even get a score better than I am expecting (would be awesome.

Game journos are impressed by a sony exclusive ? Say it aint so. This would probably be something in the 50s range, if the sony uplift wouldnt happen and if game journos wold actually have the slightest clue what they're talking about. I would not shell 80 euros for something like this.

I mean, these are the guys that go to camp reviews and receive gifts. For their unbiased opinion. The same people who rated Cyberpunk with a 91 metacritic for the first few days. They really know their job, dont they ?

Or maybe they're impressed as it's made by a well-renowned developer, what's been shown so far suggests that it's good which again is confirmed by it being priced at £70?

Yeah me too. 82. The reviews that focus on price will bring it down. I don't care. This is my kind of game and it's a fantastic looking exclusive and when it comes down to it, this is why we get hyped and spend money on the hobby. New games that take advantage of the hardware.

80-100 have been known to win game of the year, my guess is it's a franchise Sony wants to belong to their system. Everyone will want it.

I think that if you avoid the reviews that will complain about the difficulty (plus the ones complaining about the lack of black and LGTB alien representation), then the average would go to the high eighties.

Not sure if there will be some review complaining about the price. I think it would be dumb, but it's possible. Some fanboys may be angry because of the different good recent Sony news, so maybe try to attack this game for no reason.

The interview itself didn't have anything scandal worthy. But some clickbaity media managed to twist a couple of sentences making it sound as if he was Sony didn't greenlight DG2 and fired him because of having a low MC, and that he was blaming players for not buying it at full price. Even called him racist, bigot and alt-right when he's progressive and so on.

If they would have played the game or would have watched the full interview would know it but obviously, they prefered to throw shit at him because like the Days Gone director and Mumbauer, the guy from the cinematics tem who started the TLOU remaster, basically everything from the Bloomberg article other than existence of the leaked projects (they couldn't confirm or comment on them due to NDA, but the projects seem to exist).

Price has nothing to do with rating the quality of a game. It's the same video game whether it's ten dollars or a hundred dollars. If they want to include their opinion on the price in their review, that's one thing, but it should never affect a numerical score.
