Sonic Colors Ultimate on Switch takes flak for release bugs and crashes | VGC

The issues, which appear to be mainly affecting the Nintendo Switch version of the remaster, include severely glitched visuals, players falling through scenery, soft locks, crashes and more.

“Don’t tell me people are actually blaming the Switch for this when it can run literally any other Wii remaster or port with absolutely no issue,” wrote one Twitter user. “This is entirely on Sega, as usual when it comes to Sonic.”

“Sonic Colors Ultimate is objectively the most broken Sonic game ever made, not even Boom or 06 was this bad,” claimed another.

We’ve asked Sega for comment on the reported issues and asked if there’s a patch planned.

Apparently all, or at least also PS4. Someone reported there game freezing on PS4, then when they quite out the game it uninstalled itself.

Also based on a tweet after there save file was corrupted.

Damn, that's insane. Graphical glitches aren't a huge problem, fixing broken shaders should be fairly easy compared to those gameplay glitches.

I wonder if this'll get even a fraction of the flack CP2077 got.

I never played the original but this versiont controls like dogshit.

Is this just the Switch version or what? It's so much worse than the controls of say Sonic Adventure 2.
This was meant to be one of the better 3D Sonic games, I can tell you 100% it doesn't lace Adventures boots anyway.

People expecting SEGA and Sonic Team to make a good or even a decent remaster.

I saw the loading time take more time than Sonic 2006... What a fiasco in many levels.

The funny part is, Sonic fans posted the bugs, others Sonic fans calling fake bugs (created by emulator), and only after some are posting their real Nintendo Switch running the bugs that the SEGA start to talking about.

Now they're using the argument of 'we're separeting the real ones from the fakes'. SEGA is famouns for save money so if I would guess they skip the entire QA.
