Was looking for Manga Reccomandations

Seems you enjoy seinen manga and the like. Not read a lot of those, but 20th Century Boys is really solid. It follows a young man living in Japan when a terrorist group appears led by a figure known only as "Friend". The main character finds this familiar, and eventually he realizes the names and actions of the terrorists are a match for the villains he and his friends invented when they were kids and were telling stories of heroes fighting villains. He realizes "Friend" has to be one of his former friends and so he begins meeting them to try and remember everything that happened back then, who "Friend" is, and how to stop them. The story takes quite a few twists and turns with clever set-up.

For more of the mindless violence sort of manga, Gantz is a good pick. Kurono is a self-centered asshole but one day a classmate Kato happens to be at the train station with him and convinces him to help someone who just fell onto the tracks. Kurono and Kato save the person in time but get hit by the train before they can get back up to safety. They awaken in a room with other people and a giant sphere containing a sleeping person and weapons and armor. They were cloned right before dying and are now forced to occasionally go on deadly missions to fight supposed alien creatures. Do well enough on enough missions and one can either revive a deceased teammate, be freed from having to go on anymore missions, or receive a powerful weapon.

It does take a while for significant progress to be made as Kurono kind of just stubbornly sticks to his self-centered ways despite Kato trying to convince him otherwise. About 8 volumes in though, something big happens and Kurono goes through a very satisfying character arc. It's not deep or anything, but it's just a fun series.

Maybe try some junji Ito stuff he has a lot of books translated into english now. Some fantastic horror stories from him uzumaki is still one of my absolute favourites. There's a few that have a collection of short manga from him.

Akame ga Kill/Akame ga Kill 0/Hinowa ga Yuku if you want edgy dark fantasy bullshit.

Hiroya Oku's new manga ended recently, Gigante.

Also Record of Ragnarok if you want a strangely compelling but ridiculous manga about a tournament of historical figures fighting it out against the Gods.

Akira
Venus Wars
Hokuto no Ken
Gantz(though I hear the story turns sour at the end)
Devilman
Hellsing
3x3 Eyes

I finished Gantz. One of my favorites.

20th Century Boys is on my to read list

Eden: Its a Endless World (from Endo Hiroki)

Beware, it has graphic violence just like Berserk.
Always wanted to read that one

Goodnight Punpun.

Prepare for your soul to be destroyed.

I heard of this one. I'll check it out

I love Junji Ito. I haven't read all his stuff but Uzumaki is my favorite of his

I should try junji ito. I've read far more comics than Mangas though so I'm not a great source.

Enjoyed made in abyss but the "pinups", for lack of a better word, of the under age girls at the end of every volume was fucked up. I never mention this series irl cause of those pics. And a lot of peeing pants that are steaming. Like.... just get rid of that stuff but what do I know.

One of my favorite mangas. Need to watch the anime but I'm waiting for Season 2 to air all the episodes and than I will watch.

Eh it's just a drawing, so it doesn't bother me

That come to mind right now:

-Vagabond has a great story and god tier art. It'll never get finished though, so be aware.
-20th Century Boys: Great mix of mystery, drama and action with great characters.
-Real: By the same author as Slam Dunk, it's about wheelchair basketball though it focuses less on the sport and more on the characters dealing with their conditions. It's Takehiko Inoue Inout (same as Vagabond too) though, so expect long stretches with no chapters and very real possibility he won't finish it.
-Planetes: Starts off as a sci fi plot sprinkled with some terrorist threat but later on turn more into a character focused story about a guy trying to find his place in life
- Dorohedoro: The story about a weird as fuck world with demons, sorcerers and regular people trying to live in between it all. Awesome art and great characters. There's an anime adaptation on Netflix but the ugly CG visuals don't really do it justice.
-Golden Kamuy: The story of an ex soldier looking for missing gold. Fantastic characters, solid art and surprisingly educational about the lesser known Ainu culture. Be warned though...there's some awkward male fanservice from time to time.
-Kingdom: Kinda similar to the first big story arc of berserk with big armies and kingdoms fighting each others, though with a shounen style.
- Chainsaw Man: Action based manga about a dude that turns into a chainsaw demon with lots of insane and crazy scenarios and characters-

Not sure if it meets the "manga" criteria (since it's technically a web comic?) but I've really enjoyed reading Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling if you want a super OP mc.

Liar Game
Pscychometrer Eiji
King of Thorn
Death Note
Angel Densetsu - I think the first manga from the Claymore author. Short but sweet, and you can clearly see his art really improving over the course of the manga.

Spy × Family

Monster
Chainsaw Man
Fire Punch
Pluto

I watched the Monster anime and loved it

Thanks for all the Reccomandations! I used to read Vagabond but the author took to long to update so I kind of dropped it

Homunculus - a homeless man gets a surgery to open his third eye. its very eternal sunshine/being john malkovich - esque
Iam a Hero - an assistant mangaka survives a zombie apocalypse. they are zombies but with a twist, trust me
Qualia the purple - a simple yuri manga love story, with sci fi elements
Holyland - a manga about a kid who gets into street fighting, the art is either love it or hate it but the writing is good

Gonna give a +1 to Homunculus here. Excellent manga, go in as blind as possible.

Vagabond is finished. As in he will never actually complete the manga, but the final chapter he has drawn for an exhibition has been fully translated and is online. It concludes the story definitively.

Not manga, it's manhwa, but definitely Solo Levelling, you'll be hooked if you enjoyed Sword Art Online, but better.

Is that actually fucking real? Lmao. Dude just wants to draw basketball manga for eternity.
