Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
MS should buy Sega next.
That's one sure-fucking-fire way to get Persona 6 on Xbox

Sekiro is activision.
Admittedly, it feels bland with the strict console warring bans.I'm honestly surprised by the lack of meltdowns. I'm doing my best to have my own meltdowns but they're not enough. If there's a time for drama, IT IS NOW.
Try first imagining $70. Then that times 1000. And that times 1000. And that times 1000. It's easier if you do it in pieces.I can hardly imagine $70,000,000,000![]()
5 million a day?! I haven't played a CoD in ages....what exactly are they making so much bank on MTX stuff I assume but wowCOD makes $5 million a day…
What you’ve said is opinion and the reality is that yes the quality of games has blown hard over last few years.. they make a lot of money… so much money that Microsoft, one of the worlds most profitable
companies decided to buy them for $70 billion.
However you look at it, it’s an investment they will see a huge return on.
And some of the best warriors are on temp bans or have been permanently banned.Admittedly, it feels bland with the strict console warring bans.
That's like trying to launch a Pokemon competitor. It doesn't matter. COD is simply too big to fail.
I have an OLED Switch but I find myself using my XSX way, way, way more often. the nice thing about gamepass is that it has so many damn games I can just flip through it and play whatever I'm in the mood for.Anyone ever seriously think sometimes about just using Nintendo as their primary system?
The never ending battle between Sony and MS is a bit shit and tiresome to be honest. CoD timed exclusivity during the 360 and then PS4 years, timed exclusives like Titanfall, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy and multiplatform devs making established IP exclusive to one platform of the other like Street Fighter.
Wish Nintendo would strive to have hardware at least capable of getting decent third party support e.g Elden Ring. If the Switch ever got an Xcloud app I think I’d use that to play every major MS game. I’d just keep my Series S for Halo online and my PS for exclusives/From.
Yep. Not because of the acquisitions or timed exclusives, just because I hate the idea of an always online, streaming future.Anyone ever seriously think sometimes about just using Nintendo as their primary system?

I was wondering why it felt remarkably tame in here with very few people running down the street setting themselves on fire as one would normally expect! And some of the best warriors are on temp bans or have been permanently banned.
Someone said that this is a time when the rules should not apply for like 24 hours. A proper purge. I tend to agree.
Maybe if they want a native app. Didnt they already work around apple by launching via web browser? I cant think of a single person that i know of that doesnt have some sort of streaming capable device. Tvs, tablets, cell phones, computers, streaming sticks, etc.....all these and more will be able to play ms games. Hell by the time xcloud is up to stuff youll prob be able to stream it on your toaster.Sony will have to bend the knee. That's a tough ask for them.
Damn, dude...still holding onto that one?In 1997, Sony paid EIDOS for the exclusive rights to the sequel to Tomb Raider simply to keep it off the Sega Saturn. Outside of the anticompetitive clauses that Nintendo forced developers to sign previously, AFAIK this was the first shot fired in the "pay to win" console war strategy.
Payback is a bitch.
...even if it takes 25 years.
I mean... they did wait for a sale. It could have been much more expensive.$70 Billion. Microsoft didn't wait for a sale either, heh.
I guess the only leverage Sony has over MS now is Japan's laws that make it hard for a foreign company to buy theirs. Since Sony is Japanese those companies could be a lot more open for purchase from them. They should pursue locking down big Japanese IP
To make it possible for MS?How much does it cost to buy the politicians needed to make this possible?
Policians are very cheap compared to these deals. They do "speeches" for like 250k.How much does it cost to buy the politicians needed to make this possible?

I think its interesting what they say here
They said Microsoft made this acquisition now to get out in front of other Big Tech companies. They said Amazon, Netflix, Google, Facebook, etc, are all going to be competing in the future to make purchases for some of the last remaining major publishers to build out their own "metaverses".
CDPR, Roblox, EA, and Take Two were all mentioned as being potential acquisitions.
So its not to take away games from playstation but to prevent the storm of Facebook, amazon, apple, netflix, google, tencent snapping up all the publishers.
Which is a pretty dark future where each platform only has its exclusives and 3ed party content becomes a thing of the past.

Yep, they need lots of very talented developers to create decent metaverse. This is important to note. Microsoft isn't simply checkers with Sony. They are playing chess with Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google, and Tencent. Things are going to get wilder from here. Facebook is probably looking to purchase someone big for their "meta".
HA.
Effing love MJR. Going with the Sierra angle. Brilliant.

if any of them wanted to make a big move to counter what MS has been doing it would be to buy Sony thenThis is important to note. Microsoft isn't simply checkers with Sony. So what does Sony do now? Buy EA and then partner with Nintendo? These questions are in response to " Amazon, Netflix, Google, Facebook, etc." all coming in to make their own acquisitions. Thoughts?
Pour one out for Kretos.I was wondering why it felt remarkably tame in here with very few people running down the street setting themselves on fire as one would normally expect!
Nationalism doesn't work like this. How much does it cost Microsoft to buy the politicians needed to make this possible?

FAIR? It's BUSINESS!! There is no FAIR! What are you 12? Welcome to the real world kiddo. Fuckin talking about fair?I think what frustrates me a bit is that the only reason MS is doing this is because they can't compete on "fair" terms. So they just throw money at everyone instead. It's their only chance to not get absolutely crushed by Sony.
Not even close. Like.......at all.
Tencent.
