The Judge in this case already said not to bring the UK trial up. Judge said the trial was unfair and UK law is different from US law. Only evidence and testimonies from UK that are agreed upon pre trial can be used.
 
Court of public opinion has absolutely demolished Heard. It will be interesting to see how much a possible negative verdict for him will affect that.

The only people I see siding with Depp is a super catty subreddit called "deuxmoi", which seems to mostly consist of sexist, gossipy women. Harsh, but true imo.

They've been doing that a lot haven't gotten anything to pin Johnny Depp for physical violence. They've just been self owned a lot due to lack of evidence so far imo.

But we'll see what they really haven't when defense gets up on offense.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who picked up on her fake facial expressions. It's utterly bizarre to me that she doesn't realize how fake it looks. She will lean over to her lawyer, smirk/giggle, and then turn her head and plaster that weird af pouty face back on, like she's the mayor of Halloweentown.

If anyone is wondering. Amber Heard was ordered by the court for this Psyche valuation because Amber Heard was claiming PTSD.

I haven't seen any of today but it definitely fits - various forms of emotional abuse, demeaning, aggressive behavior towards the partner, often involving adultery, mixed with chronic fear of abandonment which is the key disfunction here, and frantic, violent, histrionic, often self-harm inflicting tantrums to "break" the partner to stop him from leaving. It almost sounds like a schoolbook example of BPD.


Edit: I just listened to the first segment, that's ... pretty much exactly what the testifying therapist said. BPD and Histrionic disorder. This is fascinating

I mean, this is not like defending a guy with a smoking gun (a smoking turd maybe), the case is still uncertain until the end even with heard side being massacrated, no one in here would bet his bank account on depp's win, this is how uncertain the case still is.

I'm talking out of my ass in this instance. I just feel like a lot of the stuff we had already seen from the UK trial proved how crazy this woman is. But you're right, that there is no real assurance Amber Heard will be proven guilty.

Proven crazy, yes.
 
That Amber's lawyer is reaching so hard. Trying to catch from anything, including muffins. I guess that what happens when you don't have anything at all.

BPD is about having extreme uncontrollable emotional responses to things, and extreme swings. You might at one moment react totally normally to something, and then that same day 2 hours later work yourself up into an uncontrollable rage about that thing. You often feel insanely depressed and think the entire world is against you, you isolate yourself, etc. People don't know how to deal with your swings either way, so whether you isolate yourself you will likely become isolated eventually and destroy your relationships.

Is occasional narcissistic behavior a part of BPD? Yes, but it is very different from what most people think of as narcissism as you would spend far more of your time in a really low swing sort of hating yourself.

Johnny Depp wanted this case televised but Amber Heard was against it.

Win or lose, Johnny Depp to me has already won the court of public opinion. Maybe not win the case, we just got to remember this is defamation for what Amber Heard wrote for the Washington Post. Defamation cases are tough to win.

Been interesting to follow so far, sad to admit it's entertaining. But glad that Johnny Depp finally got to share his side of the story!

MY SO will sometimes fly into fits of rage over the slightest perceived criticism. Gaslights, plays the victim, never accepts responsibility for any of her behavior. EVERYTHING is always my fault. I can rarely do anything right in her eyes. Not sure which of the 2 she has.
