The lack of info on God of War Ragnarok is concerning

Don't worry. Xbox fanboys like stevior are there to balance things out.
I mean I don't see you bitching about halo infinity reviews when more than 10% of the reviews are from unbiased xbox sites like xbox era or Windows central
I have never heard of Stevior, but if you're talking about their score for Fallout 4, it rings hollow. Fallout 4 was a multiplatform game. It had NOTHING to do with Xbox. Fallout is primarily a PC game so maybe this Stevior is a PC fanboy?

And I'm not the one getting triggered by game reviews. You are. I don't care if you compare Halo Infinite reviews to HFW. Go for it! But when someone brought up the fact that Fallout 4 and HFW had the same meta score you lost it.

It's actually 9/10

Lol
5 reviews and you think the PS4 version is superior to the PS5? :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I know I questioned how fewer or more review scores can impact the score, but 5? :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Like I said, deranged ramblings.

Are you even self aware?
Is the xbox version of fallout 4 better than pc version.

More content does not always mean better.

Most developers create more content by using shitty filler side missions which are nothing but glorified fetch quests.

God Of War 2018 had the right balance between main story and side quests. I felt the length of the game was appropriate. However, making a game longer for the sake of creating it longer is always a bad idea unless said content is meaningful.

Perhaps the game is a full-fledged sequel that is neither "filler" or an "expansion"?

Are you even self aware? Moving goalposts? You were the one who made the point that Horizon having more reviews than Fallout was a plus in Horizon's favour and now your falling back on the version with 5 reviews.

And yeah, for sure the Xbox version was better.

Fallout 4 wasn't bang average, your little fanboy peepee is showing.

You are so predictable 😂

I picked the ps4 version to make a point. You picked the xbox one version and you just prove my point.
Wrong.

PC had the bug squashing Q&A, I mean the mod community to fix all them bugs. Especially the very early game breaking one that was sporadic when you got stuck and could not leave the hatch.
Why that fuck this need to be said. Framerate version of that game was straight garbage on consoles

If we could see Kratos wield weapons with both hands even if it's 22 seconds at least it's something, that's a grown man pro killer it and has a shot at game of the year.

Now you're just being contrariness for the sake of it

More content =/= longer. It can mean more variety, more areas, bigger areas and bigger set pieces, more bosses and enemy variation, more weapons and combat options, more build variety, more post game content. And yes it can also be longer. Nothing would indicate that isn't meaningful content

Game was great, personally the only thing I would have changed would be to get rid of a third of the collectibles. There were a lot and it made the Plat a bit of an effort.

It's not just a copy paste sequel. 2018 had glaring flaws in enemy variety, bosses and set pieces. Fixing that on top of expanded areas and the new realms is obviously going to taje a lot of time if they want to do the sequel justice
Yes variety in locations, enemies, bosses and set pieces were the key missing pieces.

God Of War 1/2/3 were well known for epic boss battles and sending you on a nice adventure.

Enemy variety was also second to none.

Are we calling expansion packs to sequels now?

I feel like people are expecting sequels to act as reboots done with a different engine, no repeated assets, etc.
That never happens in game development.

Did you expect the game to change like God of War Ascension to the 2018 reboot?

If Ragnarok is an expansion pack so was Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, Killzone 3 and well...most sequels released on the same generation.

Is Forbidden West an expansion pack as well? Or Gran Turismo 7? or The Last Of Us 2? I mean...outside of the graphical department and all the extra moves the game is essentially the first game in gameplay.

Isn't this what a sequel is? Grab everything done on its predecessor and make it better, more refined, with better graphics, add more moves, basically be more up to date?
Uncharted 2, Infamous 2 and Killzone 3 looked dramatically different and were held in brand new locations.

In God Of War Ragnarok, we are revisiting some of older areas. Graphically, zero change in visuals.

Little change in combat or enemy variety either based on the short trailer.

I hardly have any platinum and GoW was certainly one of the easiest.
I did had to look on Youtube for all the crows.

It's already more than confirmed that enemy variety will be much bigger than in the first game.

There's also no info on how Ragnarok would be on the same map as the first game. Even if you revisit one place or 2 doesn't mean the game is going to be on older areas.

No reason to be concerned so soon. They didn't spent 4 years making one game on the same map with the same enemies, moves, assets, etc, come on now.
The state of play had plenty of new areas as well.

They had a demo and a release date by now. Even with that it was delayed.
Have you planned several months in advance to take vacation when God of War is out or what? I dont get people being worried. Its out when its out. If it gets delayed tough shit deal with it

Game should end with Kratos, coming face to face with Jesus, Then he asks for forgiveness and becomes the disciple that replaced Judas, changed his name to Mathias and spreads the Gospel.

I hope that in the sequel we are gonna have far more enemies and boss fights like the valkiryes and less michael bay but technically deep as a puddle enemies like fucking baldur...

People who want more set pieces with mechanically ultra shitty bosses like the dragon or cronos always puzzled me...
Do you really care more about nice cutscenes and qte than having actually good boss fights??

Baldur sucked major asses, it had like 3 moves and it was stupidly easy even on hard, but hey, he punch kratos through some trees...

I guess i'm the minority here.

April would be a weird time to release a big thing on GOW. I'm thinking we might get something closer to Summer. If E3 time passes and we get nothing on it, then I would start to worry.

Why not have both taco girl.gif

Why not have both taco girl.gif
Because big creatures means shit\gimmicky boss fights in 99% of games?? Even souls games, nobody is gonna choose the vagina dragon or the ulcerated root thingy over gael or kos or artorias.

I think that huge non-humanoid bosses works better on fps and tps than melee action games.

Monster hunter must be one of the few exceptions but i still prefer to fight smaller monsters compared to slow big stuff like shara ishvalda.

It's not about wishing for anything. I own Fallout 4 and Forbidden West on PSN.

There's more publications and reviewers now, how does that negatively or positively impact the average score?

88 & 88, lower? Let's not forget your original point was that F4 is 'bang average'. Deranged.

Honestly Fallout 4 is one of the worst games I've ever played in my life, but I can surely say that it beats all the games I've played on Atari 2600 though.

Is it a bad game? Don't know, many seem to like it.

There are nine realms. Only a few of which were explorable in any meaningful way in GOW 2018 and only Midgard which was a fully fleshed out hub.

3 of those realms were not even accessible in God of War 2018. And another three were either just for challenges or a very brief visit

So far they've shown a made over Midgard, which will likely just be for early game as it is already heavily explored in the first game. And Svartalheim which looks as big as the first game. What we saw in the trailer is likely the first few hours of the game. With this closing off the Norse saga its likely that Vanaheim and Asgard are even bigger

The game will have 9 realms, fleshed out and even more comprehensive than the first games 6 realms and will be dealing with the conclusion to the saga like God of War 3.

The scale of it is going to be off the charts

LMAO if you had working eyes, and a proper 4K feed it looks MUCH better then 2018.

I dunno. Did you ever play Warlords with four people?

I guarantee you that was more fun than Fallout 4.

I think another concern is this far from the launch of the ps5 we still have a PS4 game coming out masquerading as a ps5 game.

When I heard it was cross gen I was disappointed. But now there is no release date and we're still playing games.

When you don't give info on highly anticipated games don't be angry when fans get nervous.

Quite a lot of baseless assumptions there....

Yeah i hope that the nine realms are gonna be bigger and full of stuff to do and not like the first one where you barely see some of them.

Like i said, if the graphic remain the same as the reveal, they have no excuse to not fill the game to the brim with content.

Sony has been terrible with communication for years now, they get nothing out of keeping people in the dark, makes no sense. If the game is on track for this year why not gives us at least a more precise release window? If it might be delayed disclose that as soon as possible.

Other companies would kill to have so much interest around their products but Sony does very little to leverage that and they just keep communicating less and less.

It worked for the ps5 launch and more so I don't see why they would change anything. Don't show or talk and people will lap up any jnformation as soon as its out there. It really does work for them and doesn't seem to have changed.

It would work regardless. I don't like it at all, all the secrecy in the video game industry makes no sense to me, I think that letting people know what is on the horizon as well as good/clear communication would only make things better, it's 2022 already.

Why doesn't Sony even bother to address what is going on with TLoU2 multiplayer? They never even tried to explain why native PS3 games aren't a thing or why PSNow expansion was so ridiculously slow. No words on why something so simple as a planed feature, VRR, is taking so long.

They just leave their costumers in the dark and act like they don't have to justify anything and the game media keeps doing puff pieces where no real questions are asked.
