Bald visits Venezuela

Interesting view from the ground in Caracas. Worth a watch. Looks like with the failed state situation, everyone's left to fend for themselves, and local community organizations have to try to provide food and security.

Sad sights, like an architect hanging his university degree and awards on a wall under a bridge where he's had to sell junk for the past eight years to make money to survive.

It's too bad he's been permanently barred from Russia and I suspect associated countries. His covert trip to the old Cosmodrome complex to see the Buran space shuttle was epic!

Yeah the Buran Shuttle is what i meant. Not sure the ban will hold up for long

Bald was blocked from entry to Ukraine as well. All of those Russian visa stamps in his UK pasport were just too suspicious. It's a damn shame. Nothing better than seeing Bald go on an adventure in post soviet countries and getting excited when he encounters a mosaic or getting drunk with the local gopniks.

I don't know if he's banned from entering in any country, not in Kazakhstan were he was quickly released with almost no charge.

He already visited most of the ex URSS countries and he already planned to do something different, this before Covid and war, so I don't think that's the reason.

The guy and NFKRZ had some kind of falling out. I remember NFKRZ talked about it in a video, and apparently Bald was a real cunt to Roman.

On the subject of hellholes, I was just watching this and its a travesty.

The 3rd richest city in North Korea, yet the people live in conditions akin to 16th Century Europe, if not worse.

Number 1 hellhole on earth.

Every time I see places like this, it reminds me that right now there are 14-year-old girls in China that works 12 hours a day in some factory, 6 days a week, for pennies, and that I should really just shut the fuck up and be happy that I am able to live where I do.

If people in North Korea live in conditions like the 16th century, how would you compare that to these people living in the richest country on earth?

I watch a lot about communities in US that have been destroyed by drugs, such as fentantyl and liberal drug policy and it's a human tragedy too.
I'm in the camp that zero tolerance approach towards drugs, such as in South Korea, Japan and Singapore is the only really solution.

I'm overdue for a binge catch up. I can't remember where I left off on his vids. Bald is always entertaining and I genuinely appreciate his approach to travel and talking to the locals directly. Good stuff.

And yet certain "drugs" can help tremendously in a therapeutic way.

And why do you think people start doing drugs?

It's a complex issue with many and various aspects to approach.

And yet alchohol is freely available.

I see your point but it's targeting symptoms.
