I would guess any condition relates to the process only. Such as the delay is granted, but CMA must be ready to proceed on a date certain or their interim denial will be overturned in default. What does that mean ? He will give an adjournment neverless. Conditional probably as in you can close but under thr condition on CMA and MS finds a solution?
That's made me laughHe's conditionally granted it, the bald headed slap head. I always knew he was useless.
Yes.Does that mean MS can close?

How soon? Not yet. Probably soon enough though
I'm having a hard time following legal procedures and whatnot. Kudos to all of you who can understand this stuff.I would guess any condition relates to the process only. And that might end up being the face saving measure. Publicly claim no deal after whatever formal proposal is received, followed by CAT dismissing for procedural reason, followed by CMA claiming lack of resources prevented them from fighting the appeal. "See guys, we never changed our position, we just need more resources from parliament to do our jobs."
We are waiting CMA announcement. How soon?
Just wait for E3How soon?
When the CMA bend over and agree to the deal yes, which by the looks of it won't be longDoes that mean MS can close?
yeah... probably not a good message to send for large companiesMeta has to be wondering why they gave a fuck what the CMA said. UK regulation in tatters.
It makes more sense now why Bobby will go for it. They've clearly already worked it out. Just a question of closing today vs. closing at the end of August. Will be the same result.MS/TVI would still need to extend the deal, but at least CAT show was a good watch (I thought it would be a pretty mechanical nothingburger before another CMA investigation).
It's conditional on evidence still but Microsoft and CMA can now restructure the deal in peace. Closure should be the next few weeks Imo, maybe not this week because I don't think CMA will lift the block but I doubt they'll take long to look at this divesture of Cloud, it should be fast tracked and it's only one piece to look at.How soon?

Looking at this ride, never say never. Who knows what awaits us?It makes more sense now why Bobby will go for it. They've clearly already worked it out. Just a question of closing today vs. closing at the end of August. Will be the same result.
The judge keeps saying he requires satisfaction.
Someone give the man satisfaction.
I think the only thing left to learn is what MS and CMA agreed as the additional concession, and then the final close date. Guess we'll see.Looking at this ride, never say never. Who knows what awaits us?
Someone send him a Mick Jagger mp3.The judge keeps saying he requires satisfaction.

Just open the damn flood gates at this point. Wide open. After all this, people still believe that Microsoft is going to have issues in buying another big publisher?
I'm satisfied that these court proceedings are boring as fuuuuuuuckThe judge keeps saying he requires satisfaction.

it is obvious, they would lose credibility if they do not authorize the merger by tomorrow.I'm guessing the CMA will be revoking their temporary prohibition of closing so that MS and ABK can finish the transaction tomorrow.
The judge really wants to be satisfied
This is it though, we've still not heard about an extension, guess we'll find out tomorrow.MS/TVI would still need to extend the deal, but at least CAT show was a good watch (I thought it would be a pretty mechanical nothingburger before another CMA investigation).

Nobody will ever take them seriously again after this the pussiesI'm guessing the CMA will be revoking their temporary prohibition of closing so that MS and ABK can finish the transaction tomorrow.
it's so backwards to me. now that they can do this huge acquisition, who can really argue that buying "small" 5-10 billion dollars publishers is anti competitive. they don't move the market at all. The regulators clearly have failed. After all this, people still believe that Microsoft is going to have issues in buying another big publisher?
I can't listen to this guy talk anymore
