Microsoft and Activision Blizzard Still Committed to $75 Billion Merger
The companies have secured approval in Europe, China and other markets but hit roadblocks in the U.S. and the U.K.www.wsj.com
I had a windows phone :[Microsoft doesn't always win and take over. Everybody isn't using Windows Phones (Bill considered this Microsofts biggest mistake, not being what Android is now). Smart TVs and Web servers running on Linux and not Windows NT Kernel, Windows isn't the dominant OS on ARM. Wintel still exists though.

$75 billion? Something change?
There's still time for them to do something in the next 4 hours but the most common times when things like this are announced have come and gone.
If anything is to happen today they really are taking it to the wire.

As a Republican, I will gladly call these people RINOs. Why would you be for big tech when big tech is constantly silencing you, including MS?22 House Republicans Call on FTC to Drop Opposition to Xbox's Activision Blizzard Merger

I tried briefly googling this too but couldnt find an answer. I've seen $69B and $75B in different articles too. I'm assuming it has to do with sites doing the math using different outstanding share counts. But not sure.Man I read it july 18 lmao.
Also 75 billion ? Did they extend contract and added more money to it ?
I did too. It was actually a good phone. Better than the Android phone I had after it.I had a windows phone :[

Multiple articles have been calling it the 75 bn deal since the FTC hearing. I don't know why either.
Man I read it july 18 lmao.

You would think so. They are probably working around the clock trying to nail this down and with how unpredictable it has been they are probably waiting till the last minuteBefore sleep I say this. If everything was done and dusted, we would've gotten that PR wire about extension already.
Big Tech has long paid for politicians on "both sides", our two-party system has long been a sham when corporations own both partiesAs a Republican, I will gladly call these people RINOs. Why would you be for big tech when big tech is constantly silencing you, including MS?
If the deadline ends at midnight EST, even if a deal is struck now with 3 hours to go, maybe they'll just wait till 6 am to release the news. Why bother now. Before sleep I say this. If everything was done and dusted, we would've gotten that PR wire about extension already.

Link?Deal is dead.
Feel like a broken record, but the deal doesn't end today if nothing happens. Before sleep I say this. If everything was done and dusted, we would've gotten that PR wire about extension already.

Hey Zune was a dope system. I perosnally think they should have won the MP3 player war.I was a Zune HD owner, I can relate to MS and lost potential.
Do these dumb fucks forget that Pete Hines said, on the stand, that they were shopping for exclusivity deals on their upcoming titles and approached both MS and Sony? Some of these losers make it sound like Sony tried to poach everything.
I still have my Nokia Lumia somewhere. I want to say it was the mid-tier one, the 970....maybe. Lack of apps support killed it.![]()
I also had a Lumia for a bit back in the day. Have this old picture saved in my gallery. The tile interface looked great on a phone screen, but it sucked when they tried to roll it into desktops.

I never bought a Zune, but I heard that the music quality was superior to Ipod at the time. I won an ipod otherwise I might've bought one.Hey Zune was a dope system. I perosnally think they should have won the MP3 player war.
And Sony has been gobbling up exclusives and marketing deals like crazy including 10 years worth of activision partnerships. MS said fuck it and will just buy them out so Sony (who already have another two years left of Cod deals) doesnt do another 10 years worth,Do these dumb fucks forget that Pete Hines said, on the stand, that they were shopping for exclusivity deals on their upcoming titles and approached both MS and Sony?
