Why would impulse triggers burst his bubble when he is talking about haptics?

Look at the Pro sales. It was just 100 Dollars or so more than the PS4 Slim with almost double the power and got outsold 4:1. Pro is mostly for enthusiasts and not the casuals that make the majority of the buyers.Yeah I don't think they can. Just imagine if Wolverine releases next year with amazing graphics on the PS5 Pro. It'll give the PS5 Pro a real wow factor which Xbox will struggle to compete with. And the Pro will be the go to console for all third party games.
Both features are made from the same company. Not the same tech. PS5's HF is significantly different and superior.
I learned to love AAA batteries, I use a pair when charging the other. To replicate that, is have to buy another controllerSo I guess haptics, gyro and rechargeable battery will become GREAT features rather than 'nah, we don't need them to play mah xbox games, also they eat mah batteries' features??

Do you even understand what haptics means? Any technology that attempts to simulate touch and motion would fall under this category. Impulse triggers clearly falls under this. Play one of the Xbox One Forza games and you can effectively feel the road surface on your fingertips. Why would impulse triggers burst his bubble when he is talking about haptics?
yeah and they're horrible and nowhere near what dualsense has.The Switch joycons had advanced haptic feedback years before the PS5 dual sense.
Where's the email about Phil Spencer wanting to buy Valve AND Nintendo? Pretty huge they have the cash and ability and could absolutely do it.
The Valve one is more realistic than Nintendo.
Time to get Salty GPU friends.

Microsoft are probably hoping that their services and the games their first party will release will be enough to pull many people into the ecosystem and sell consoles. But it doesn't look great tbh. Sony will have a console that will completely outclass theirs for third party and I think Sony will still remain more attractive for 1st party games to the majority of people, at least for the next few years or so.
I'm sorry, WHAT?! xDDDD.Sorry to burst your bubble...

What damage control? Every company in similar industries builds off the success of their competitors and learns from failures.yeah and they're horrible and nowhere near what dualsense has.
dualsense pretty much set the new standard for rumble in controllers and is the reason for this "refresh"
but keep going with your damage control. it's mildly entertaining
It's almost as if there was years of advancement and iterations between these two technologies. Fascinating.I'm sorry, WHAT?! xDDDD.
You compare tumble triggers to haptics and adaptive triggers?
It's like comparing steering wheel with rumble and steering wheel with Force Feedback. Guess which one shits on the other and is VASTLY superior.
That deal will never happen. Just phil shooting the shitgod where is the throw up emoji
The technology is not a gimmick, but if very little developers take advantage of the capability, it essentially becomes worthless.I thought haptics (rumble 2.0) were only a gimmick?

Please don't put words into my mouth that I never said. Both features are made from the same company.

You're saying that because PS5's implementation is the latest, none that have come before (and there have been many versions across many platforms) have any merit?

It's not a mid-gen upgrade, it's just a revision of the Series X.How many tittyflops is it now? 20? 30?

So if you bought a Series X and bought all you game physically, Microsoft is like...

DualSense haptics feedback is currently the most advanced since Sony made it a priority for the PS5 controller. I simply said the technology has been present in various forms for many years, including a lesser version in the impulse triggers Xbox introduced back in 2013. Technology advanced, fancy that. You are trying to argue that Xbox already has haptics like DualSense? Really?
finally some great first party gamesmicrosoft soon to own nintendo with phil as CEO

finally some great first party games
what a visionary leader, a true gamer too
Im sure gaming executives for other companies fantasize about buying out the competitionHow about he spends his time actually doing his job then instead of "shooting the shit" and writing paragraphs fantasising about buying up (or bribing) the entire industry?
