I know what you thinking after that thread title but hear me out. I watched sunshine again 15 years later and i forgot how good it was. Surface of the sun music is killing it.

This music is really good. I still listen to the soundtrack from time to time.

For me i think it must be this one.

Geat scene. Sunshine was amazing. I didn't like like the ending but the rest was so well done. It was so easy to connect with the characters.

Braveheart is filled with a ton intense scenes.

Love the slow mo where wallace trots up on horse back arms out, no weapons in hand, looks to be surrendering and then whips out a flail hidden behind his back and crushes the guys head and leads the revenge attack

What a great thread OP thank you!

Although appreciation will depend on what we've already seen but hoping it sparks curiosity in others.

Here's one more before I go to bed.

I also like this scene a lot.

That movie forever changed the way I viewed fight cinematography. Jet Li and the crew put on a clinic on how it should be done.
YES!!! The most exciting fight scenes I had seen up to then were HEAVILY edited... THIS shows the person REALLY moving! It really brought me back into martial arts!

This sequence was so amazing on the big screen:

And I still rewatch this sequence a few times a year:

And speaking of Jet Li:

And goddamn Barry Pepper in Saving Private Ryan:

Honestly there is so many to choose from, but since I'm a sci-fi person and it's the most recent massive epic moment that sticks out to me, and that is the interstellar docking scene

If we are talking most recently, there are many parts in top gun maverick that were pretty damn epic

For people my age to remember and the young ones to discover 😆

Oh my god the windshield wipers flinging water toooo muuuuch

Edit: I have hanged with serious people that are attracted to dangerous folks.

Welcome to New York

Edit 2: I have never been to New York

The "why are you FLANKING me" scene in Wind River. Insanely good movie and Jeremy Renner is excellent in it.

After the movie I couldn't sleep at all. But I was also way too young when I saw it. Great movie.
Same here, I was either 5 or 6 :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I was hooked though. I remember my old man getting them on good old pirated VHS at the time. The tracking was awful, the blacks were blue and the static was painstaking, but dear god, the Sci Fi was grand!

I grew up with all those golden oldies, Aliens, Robocop, Predator, Total Recall. They're still excellent to this day.

It's quite hard these days to find good Sci Fi :messenger_sad_relieved:

Love it!

I forced the kid and missus to watch three western endings and say which was the best after whinging they were bored...

They loved it, so much.. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

They went with -->

Ah yes the pirated Vhs times. We had most of the movies in 3-4 languages at the same time and in very bad quality as well. Was partly a bit difficult to understand. But i really wanted to see them.
