Well I wouldn't blame them, it's hard to think of many recent western games with female leads that are really good. Horizon has Aloy she's annoying af. Bought both games, never finished either because her personality was terrible. The new tomb raider trilogy is pretty bad as well. Lara is annoying and fucking reprehensible in all the games barring the first. Even in the first game, she's only barely tolerable. In Hellblade, Senua is pretty annoying as well. Couldn't finish the game. Forspoken, the main lead is annoying and talks too much while saying absolutely nothing of value. The only good we games where I really enjoyed the female lead were Uncharted Lost Legacy with Chloe and Nadine. Excellent duo, great banter, good conversations and I think Celeste was pretty good as well. Oh i forgot Kena as well, good character.

No later than March 2025. Take-Two Interactive fiscal year closes end of March and they promised around $8B in net bookings for FY25. So GTA6 will need to be out at the latest March.

Probably next summer at e3 having a short gameplay demo then maybe one more in early 25'. Or E3 another trailer and gameplay/demo E3 25'. Sucks saying E3 now since it's pretty much dead

Speaking of the wait sucking: All this buzz for the game is here NOW. Not 14 months from today! NOW.
Its better to release a trailer, create the buzz, and release the game three months later to strike while the iron is hot.
Think of HOW MUCH SHIT IN LIFE is going to happen from NOW until 2025! Wars, deaths, different presidents, 588 new movies, new tech, etc etc
Life could be completely different 14 months from now.
Just release the game- OR- wait to release the trailer more closely to the game's launch.

There probably won't be any. In fact, GTA V looked better in the later trailers than the first trailer and the final game did too.

Yeah for sure. I miss the E3 as well. But Rockstar never has been one for brand new trailers of new games at big shows anyway.
Nah. Let's not forget Rockstar spent 7 or 8 years on RDR2 as well. That came out in 2018. Let's assume the rumor about them going back to the drawing board is true and covid.....it's not too bad.
I do however wish Strauss had not said in a interview a few years ago that Rockstar would be making smaller games, so that we would see more games from them more often. That clearly didn't happen.
