Any self respecting sega fan knows that buying the hardware doesn't mean jack.

Sega saying they were going to support the dc when they announced it was going to be discontinued and pretty much stopped a month later.

And hopefully say this as a HARDCORE sega fan from back in the day.

The problem is there is less incentive for people to buy an Xbox. That's not good for an already struggling console.

I learnt my lesson. I just never believed MS would actually do it and kill off their own hardware generation. I should have remembered the OG Xbox one E3 announcement. Sigh
 
Honest question, how old is the OP? I refuse to believe there is anyone above the age of 14 who can't control their emotions like this regarding a plastic video game system.

If you've got the money for it, the PC Master Race is always accepting new players. All Microsoft content is here day 1 and the one good PlayStation game (God of War) we get at a delay, so it's a pretty extensive platform to experience all content with its best visuals and often more features.

Just my 2 cents for people that love just Xbox games and Gamepass there will still be an Xbox to buy next generation

I know a lot of people who own a PS and would never buy an Xbox and a lot of Xbox owners that would never buy a PS

Xbox hardware isn't going anywhere unless there was indeed a coup over the weekend, one so severe Phil was still playing Diablo 4 instead of making important calls

Still making hardware while porting (potentially) your biggest games to your biggest rival doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

If a company does something to piss you off take your money and invest it elsewhere. Buy your games on Playstation now. Show MS that you wont support this. A meltdown does nothing but perpetuate the geeky neckbeard soyboy gamer stereotype that is prevalent in society. It's pathetic.

I didn't see the original post, but think I saw it quoted above somewhere. I don't think it was worth editing out your thoughts. You feel screwed by Microsoft, we get that, a lot of people do. Did it deserve a thread? Probably not. But I'm pretty sure it's not ban worthy what I see lol. When I saw the thread title and edited OP post, I was like "oh this is gonna be a saucy and crazy post by OP…gold thread coming up" lol. Ended up being rather tame. Don't let these clowns that reply about a ban scare you away from your thoughts OP. Unless you do something super outrageous, the mods will typically just call you an idiot and give you a warning, trust me I've been there 😂

I can see (this is a guess) those ports being like Starfield and taking a year+ to make it to PS, I dunno

I just know it wasn't long ago they were fully committed to bringing out another generation of Xbox, the specs are even out there what they envision it will be

You do you, I just don't get that mindset, especially for games that were never exclusive anyway 🤷‍♂️

If they announce they're actually going the Sega route, killing all hardware, stranding digital libraries, ok, pitchforks and torches.

I'm with OmegaSupreme OmegaSupreme . New hardware seems DOA in the future if they forego exclusives, even if it is timed.
 
I like Xbox, even if everything is multiplatform I will keep buying their shit. I am getting old and I come to peace, that I simply prefer certain things. Hell I bought Xbox One after PS4, maybe just through this very reason. But maybe I just really like Forza Horizon. Moreover, I mostly playing multiplatforms anyway and I like their services like GP and Xcloud. Not to say I don't like what is Sony is doing, from the programming standpoint, I actually vastly prefer Playstation. I just hate the typical MS boilerplate, which people know and love/hate from their .net framework. Granted they are doing some cool shit now with RUST, which I think needs to come standard.

Granted if they drop out, I hope someone steps in, because having one console, is just sad. Obviously I don't count that shitty Japanese toy maker.

I hope its going to be nVidia, I hate to change colors.
