I love seeing Harada and Ono with their shenanigans over these games. I know little about them, but seeing them goofing off and trolling fans feels a lot like the old world that I used to know and miss so dearly. May they continue their fun for many years to come.

Those Mishimas keeping going in and out from volcanos for 30 years! They probably have some sort of volcano house by now.

I wonder what Ono is up to now. I love that guy.

I don't know why, but I didn't pop a smile once during the trailer.
Not because I don't want him in the game, I'm just really confused, that's all...

I didn't expect this at all.

Was watching Evo this weekend with my friends. On Friday, one of them tried to convince us that Heihachi couldn't be coming back for Tekken 8 because he was thrown into a volcano. My other friend and I immediately dismissed this nonsense idea that this was sufficient enough an obstacle. No fucking way Heihachi was dead. I felt so vindicated when the reveal happened.

During the scene of him standing in the emptied lava pit, we joked that the lava wasn't hot enough and that he just absorbed it all. I quipped the mistake they made was not tossing him into the sun.

Tekken 8's plot was a total fan service spectacle (almost every chapter had heavy callbacks to Tekken's past history). It only make sense that Heihachi is coming back yet again, it is the biggest Tekken thing one could ever do.
