Game Pass is falling apart. That really promotes confidence in their service.
I've heard this for years now. Here's to a few more!Game Pass is falling apart.
The word unsustainable comes to mind.
Not to mention its on my dashboard every time I boot up my Series XTo be fair, wom will travel faster anyway
At this point why just not have it on Game Pass day one if thats the case. Its really hard trying to figure out the strategy at times. All thats really gonna happen is those who already have Ultimate wont be buying CoD anymore. MS is imploding the Xbox ecosystem one business decision at a time.Hoping some people will buy the game instead of claiming it on GP? Good luck MS, you conditioned your playerbase to expect gsmes on GP, won't be easy to change it
According to Twitter randos lord incognito and sidvicious69.
…
Randoms claims Microsoft wil ldo something they are doing
Seriously, I'm good through February 2027 thanks to Microsoft Rewards. You bet I've been conditioned to not pay for games. At least not unless they're actually good. Not that I care since I have Gamepass Ultimate until 01/2026.
Are you going to keep subscribing after it expires provided it exists?Seriously, I'm good through February 2027 thanks to Microsoft Rewards. You bet I've been conditioned to not pay for games. At least not unless they're actually good.
Nope. I'll let it expire and then maybe buy a month here or there if there's something I really want to play. I don't get new game FOMO very often but if I do I just buy the game. Other than that I've been waiting for deep discounts. Are you going to keep subscribing after it expires provided it exists?
Yea that is what I did when my years of GPU expired.Nope. I'll let it expire and then maybe buy a month here or there if there's something I really want to play. I don't get new game FOMO very often but if I do I just buy the game. Other than that I've been waiting for deep discounts.
They could maybe do better massively marketing console bundles with the game included.
In other news, water is wet.
I dont know why this is news. They own the IP.

Is this sarcasm? I feel like the only ads I have seen the past 5 years for Xbox have been gamepass ads lol.It is not like they promote Game Pass that much eitherYou don't see marketing for GP anywhere outside of showcases and in trailers.
I think is not that hard, people buying the game at $70 provide more revenue compared to people just subscribing to GP ultimate. What's the logic here?
They are gonna put COD day one and COD has huge traction, but they don't want to talk about it?
Sure didn't stop them from revealing the game right after the Xbox "E3" June showcase and had gamepass plastered all over it"isn't allowed"?

I'm going to assume MS as they want to sell the game to people. If this is true, I wonder who isn't allowing them to and for what reason. I can see not wanting to undermine direct sales, but there's also been a clear intent to boost Game Pass subscriber counts for some time now too. Therefore, is the authority on this decision coming from some other party?
Hoping some people will buy the game instead of claiming it on GP? Good luck MS, you conditioned your playerbase to expect gsmes on GP, won't be easy to change it
If people are blind that is their fault.Huh? Such marketing restrictions run counterintuitive to what you would expect from a company that owns the underlying IP.
In this case, water is burning shit up.

Microsoft continues to make some of the dumbest business moves. This is like Sony with PSVR.
How did this meeting go?
"Let's release a product that cost us a lot to crate and not tell anyone about it!"
Brilliant.
