I really had no idea how strongly divided the CoD community is when it came to which studio made the game and how they "feel" .. some people only like IW games, others only like Treyarch, etc...
The visuals and frame rate on your 7900xt far outweigh any potential cheating bs in my opinion..

Movement feels good and bad at the same time, feels like you are slow as fuck running through water, but also feels good and flexible. Graphics are a bit shite. Maps seem OK. Glad there's the option for turning off cross-play at least for now (going go wait and see if it's there at launch).

Not sure what you even mean. Some of the top ranking players on ranked are on controller.
PC and mnk players have been complaining about broken aim-assist for years. It was especially strong in MW3, which is why it was dialed back for this game.
So much better than superhumans speed in MW3. Liking the movement in this game and TTK.

And the better cheats are usually monthly subscriptions to stay ahead of the anti cheat
A lot of money to just cheat in a game that means jack shit in the end unless you are trying to build a streaming career
In that case the bigger streamers get whitelisted anyhow to avoid detection and is why at things like COD Next you see the content creators missing a lot of shots they make look easy while streaming.

One of the things I've noticed after putting more time in is that diving is not a core part of the experience. I was worried it'd become everyone diving popping off headshots with insane accuracy. But the diving in itself seems pretty situational, if anything when someone is spamming it they become more vulnerable.
PS-Also tac sprint feels terrible in a game that is all about fluid movement. One or the other sprints should be the default but not both.

that's what i do as well, but when people quote these tweets from COD influencers they don't decide based off that. They are all hyped up in the beta EVERY time.

But Ybarra told me one thing that has been becoming a problem for console only lobbies are PC programs that he called spoofing the COD servers that allows those on PC to join console only lobbies and those guys have access to these kinds of cheats
I asked if this was a widespread problem and he said it wasn't a huge issue but for sure was on Acti radar and was a growing problem.

Uhhh is it me or is there zero footstep audio? I double checked my sound settings and there's nothing there that would indicate a mixing issue or whatever.
Also the game is unplayble for me today as there's constant stutter. I've seen more people report this as well and it seems related to the packet burst issue rather than video settings?

I watched a video with the PC version and I could hear the footsteps. On PS5 I can't hear shit.
The first match I played felt weird, like a jittery effect, not sure if that's what you're experiencing too. Switched it to 120Hz and it was OK (but this was hours later so who knows if that was the issue).
