The game is insane looking on PC with path-tracing. The water caustics are just so good (as is the overall lighting).
PS5 version looked very bad in comparison. Terrible image quality, the usual FSR-smeared PS5 look.
Now I'm oddly interested in seeing how the Series S will handle this.

Oh man, I don't think it will be pretty on S. I saw the game on PS5 on a projector screen and thought it looked pretty decent for that. That screen must have been 80 inch or so and my TV is 65, that's going to help. Have things been fixed for PS5 by now?

When you stop to consider that Wukong plays at 1080p60 in performance mode on PS5 and isn't able to hit a stable 60...
Xbox Series S is either getting skipped or will run like a Switch game. Either way it'll be a bad look for Microsoft and too late.

I'd say it means a drop is relatively soon. Within the next 2-3 months. Obviously you'd want to get it out there before Christmas.

Series S cpu is fully capable of running this game at a comparable framerate to the ps5.30fps with some serious cuts in fidelity if they want to keep it stable. Xbox series X will probably deliver similar performance to PS5. I am good with my almost maxed out PC version

Not true. I have a very nice PC (but is due for upgrade when 5090 releases), that can play Wukong with higher fidelity, resolution and fps that PS5Pro will ever be able to deliver in this game.
