IMO, yes. It's like a few chapters of Control in the AW2 engine.

I really liked this DLC, it's a lot more of both AW2 and Control and merging the two lores into one connected one.

Also things near the ending set up Control 2 pretty decently.

I enjoyed the dlc except for the new enemy. Those guys can kiss my ass.

I'm psyched about the new QoL/accessibility options, gonna be great for exploring and finding all the pages and stuff.

Nope. You did not face 5 plus at once like the OG. And I dont know what your talking about when you suggest you fought groups of men and a wolf at the same time? Also the controls especialy the mechanics around healing where slow as fuck.

Did you even play the lakeside level? There was more than 5 enemies at once even on Story.

Went to grab Alan Wake 2 for 25 or so dollars for Halloween. And it was $60 and that didn't include the DLC!

What a bunch of clowns. Excited to see them further subdivide their studio ownership.

Also, Control killed my PS4 pro. Shit, stilted game.

Alan Wake 1 looking back was fascinating (killing people with a flash light beam), and it was a solid third person poltergeist shooter.
