The AI generated simulator games on PSN have gotten out of hand

This garbage is flooding PSN. It's becoming worse than the eShop.

that's not only PS problem I think, it's also all platforms' problems since it is easy to publish game, however, to find good games is another problem.

Sony was supposed to fight trash games made for trophy hoes, but I don't feel like much has changed. I regularly browse new games through psprices and there are tons of this trash being addes to the store.

No one said they were playing this trash.
People like me who sort the store by new games released only see this shit and not good games that were just released and deserve some attention.
So you want find good games didn't get attention from Sony to highlight in front page. But the same time you want Sony filtering those games didn't get attention from them?

The reason we get so much good indies now it's the reason those trash games exist. They don't need a publisher anymore

That's what happens when people praise copypaste ripoff slop like Palworld, everyone comes out of the woodwork with their own fake generated assets ripoff slop

Correction. This is what happens when "indies" have full unrestricted access to a marketplace. They really need to start screening this stuff again and restrict it to places like Newgrounds.

That showed up on tons of turds. All that meant was that the dev agreed to Nintendo's extortion in order to get past the lockout chip.
Well yeah I know ahah but I mean something like this, to validate that at least the game is a normal game, playable from the beginning to the end, not a 3 minutes AI generated shit experience.

One day the gaming community will realize that we have reached a point where things are now like Movies, Music, and TV.

You ever walk into a vinyl store? Would you just randomly look at the 'new' section when walking in and then leave to complain when you don't see what you like? No? Then do what you'd do at the vinyl store, search by category, ask around for recommendations, look up reviews, etc.

There are helpful people and services in many different places that will help you find something. Better than letting yourself randomly get upset at a pandora's box that's already been opened for years.

As well as all this low effort AI art shite, I want to know what sort of arrangement was made so that Penny's Big Breakaway is always near the top of the list when you sort PS5 games from New to Old on the PS app.

It came out in Feb. It's always there.

They're small devs, so it's unlikely they could afford the money for something like this, so it's probably a bug of some sort.

PS Store should just copy Steam's feature set. Add an ignore list, more filtering options, tagging, drop the wishlist limit, etc.

Can't take anyone seriously demanding these games to vanish when they're at the same time perfectly fine with AAA garbage running at sub 30fps and ridiculous frametimes and resolutions. Either you go full (classic) Nintendo and have an iron grip on the curation of your frontend, or you go the libertarian Valve route and let anything go (and let the market decide). What is it now?

PSN is a total mess since they allowed cheap crap "games" I wouldn't even call those "indie games" since it's a dishonest to real well made indie games.

Trying to browse PSN is pointless nowadays.

I don't care anymore since I stopped buying games on PSN in favour of Steam or other priorities but SIE seriously needs to erase all the crap games on PSN.

Steam allows you to have IDK but 1000 games in wish list. PSN has only 100 so you can't keep track on good games on PSN. That's the problem
