There was a Virtua Fighter style fighting game PC in the 90s. I think it was probably released around 95 or 96. It had 3D graphics and it wasn't a 2d fighting game. I don't think it was released on any consoles, just PC.

The look at least matches my memory, I'm not sure about the monkey creatures myself right now. I'll have to have a look later and see if there's the level I remember.

There was a game my friend had on (probably) ps2. In a cutscene there was an impaled character who took a sword out of himself (the sword was sticking out of the ground (blade in the ground, hilt toward the sky)). Or it could be that the sword remained in the ground as he lifted his body through it (this was ~20 years ago). Please scratch this itch I've had for 20 years!!!

Googling it, might be Dagda from Arknights. Some AI search images showed kind of similar art to yours (but not exact). Your pic might be someone using Dagda in an AI tool.

But generic AI tool creations show kind of the same thing.
