Hell is Us | Investigation Gameplay Trailer

Around 4:30 in, hidden quests are a great addition. The 'deeper secrets require keen observation and deduction' remind me of this game:

Hopefully it's not as ridiculously complicated as Secret World was though. I remember scouring the internet for hours on some of their deeper puzzles.

The Witness is very hard, too. If you platinum it, NASA sends you a job offer.

I'm immediately sold after that, and that's a rare thing that's becoming less rare as of late. There's some incredibly interesting titles on the horizon.

So good. Day fucking one.

It's interesting to see games starting to take this "absolute zero" approach with guidance and hand holding. Like Atomfall, this is another game that has no quest markers, no journals and encourages organic discovery in order to progress forward. I wouldn't be surprised to see other upcoming big hitters take the same approach, like lets say, Mindseye.

It's like BOTW opened the door, Elden Ring took it a step further, and now devs are like "Holy shit why don't we just do that?"

It's like a total antithesis of Ubshit. Took long enough lol

Looks great! And seems like Elden Ring regarding not having quest markers and arrows etc.

So close! I think I did everything except the stressful labyrinth puzzle at the end. Fantastic game!

Duuuuude the guy narrating is the creative director but he also was the art director for Deus Ex Human Revolution at Eidos Montreal.

I'm 10x more hyped than I already was.

Ex Deus ex @ Eidos montreal art director so yes, that team is going places. Probably a lot of ex Eidos in that studio after SE fucked it up.
Proud of them. I'm 100% in. I've met Jonathan in real-life, really nice guy.

That looks really good 😱 I've been interested in this game since it's reveal but that was excellent, Right up my street roll on release day.

Hell is Us is on my radar since the first reveal trailer, but seeing the new trailer and making the connection to Secret World is another level of awesome...loved Secret World ... Even though it was clunky it's in my all time top 10.
So refreshing, came at a perfect time for me... And the quests/stories and investigations were really fun and captivating. They were good if it were a single player adventure, let alone a mmo.

Looking forward to Hell is Us even more now :messenger_clapping:

This looks good. Wish it was releasing earlier in the year though.

Edit: Apparently the game's director was the art director for Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided.

Thank god they only took only the cool aesthetic parts of death stranding without all the cringe and boring ass gameplay.

Do we have a release date?

Deus Ex dev and a Deus Ex voice actor. I was excited since its first gameplay showcase. Until now I always had the feeling this game is flying below radar.

GymWolf GymWolf September 4th.

Wishlisted from PS Showcase I think. Really liked this little teaser. Many people won't like the game because seems it won't be holding your hands.

If the game will have minimal fear elements, I'll definitely buy it because it seems gorgeous.

Is that why the protagonist sounds like Adam Jensen?

Oh it is Adam Jensen. Lol

Definitely getting it. Not sure at what price. A demo could push me over the edge. Looks really promising. But souls combat gets a bit boring.

Took me by surprise, looks likes a winner. Killer art direction and atmosphere. Should be a lot of hype for this one.

Cautiously interested. The market is oversaturated by souls-likes and a lot of them are super mediocre or even down right bad with a few really good ones.
