An adrenaline-pumping gameplay trailer for cyberpunk shooter Metal Eden landed during this year's Spring Showcase. Players take on the role of an advanced battle android and tear through a derelict orbital city in this single-player adventure, which is coming to PC and Xbox on May 6.

Metal Eden won't see Reikon become the new king of first-person shooters anytime soon, especially with all the rough edges. Its efforts are almost contrary to their first title – sleek instead of raw, if a little too rudimentary, with a commitment to a specific narrative style, though more overbearing.

The mystery of ASKA and how she fits into this ruined future may not stand out much initially – and her relatively stoic personality doesn't help either. It probably won't make the same impact as Ruiner, but the gameplay makes up for it in spades.

It's on my wishlist, looks a lot like Ghostrunner at first glance, but not as difficult... which is a good thing since I've abandoned Ghostrunner 1 specifically because of the difficulty level and not wanting to replay each section xx times. Gonna wait for a pricedrop, especially seeing how some people are saying it's a short game.

I am playing it right now , the game is pretty awesome. Feels good to play, movement is smooth, arena combat similar with DOOM but without the poles, you have wallrunning, a grapple, jetpack and lots of mobility. No map so no constant checking the map for collectibles, its always fast paced.
Performance is great, no stutters
Price point is not in its favor though so I think more people will give it a chance when it will pop up on a sale.

Matty just put out a video as well
