Gunpla

Anyone build the Armored Core 30 Minute Missions kits and how was your experience? Still waiting on my pre-order but so hyped to build these once I get them.

Just saw this thread. My son is really into gunpla since a few months ago. He built 10 HGs since christmas, he's really hooked. I also started myself, nice hobby

I like the old school kits. I got a rgm79 and ordered a hguc guncannon. Can't find a guntank locally and the shipping is as much as the kit.

I was gifted a rx78-2 but sadly it's the Rg01 and not V2. This thing is a hand grenade :(

It will be gargantuan. Depending on the models you're comparing, the top of the head of a same scale RX-78 might approach the neckline of the Nu Gundam or its shoulders will barely clear the Nu's waist.

I wonder how stable it will be. The old PGs with backpacks just do not stand on their own: The Wing Zero uses its feathers to support it, and the Aile Strike comes with a stand. Overall the funnels aren't as heavy as either, but the weight is very concentrated.

Yeah. Modern gunpla designs have been very good structurally though and this has been in primary development for five years, so I'm sure they'll have it figured out. Needs to be paired with PGU Sazabi next!

Its gonna come with a square stand for sure like Unicorn and Exia.

66000 yen after tax, LED kit sold separately. At typical price conversions we can expect $600 US. Phew.

It looks pretty big. And here I am debating if I should get the rx78 at 325$ CAD... Ouch

Wow. Nu Gundam in 1:60 scale PG... and I was yearning for this ever since PG Zeta.
Truly impressive, and also truly impressive/horrifying price tag!
It's 1/60 scale, so should be about 14 inches tall. (Nu gundam being 23m)
With fin funnel attached, it should be like 17-18" tall....

Now if they can make matching scale Sazabi... :)

Don't know if it's the same universe, but I have a half-built Destroid Defender at home. I'm not really into japanese entertainment culture, but I'm a MechWarrior fan and they stole the design for an identical looking anti-aircraft mech.
