I'm not really familiar with arcade hardware but what is the reason a cabinet like this would weigh 670kg That's like over 30 high-end desktop PCs in weight.

2.6m high and 4m depth, seems crazy big and heavy lol.

Edit: Googled and a Daytona 2 player setup is 235kg and 6.8m cubed. This is 670kg and almost 13m cubed. If this is real it's crazy lol.

Part of me says it is weighed down, as an anti theft device. But it is really hard to say. Will the cabinet use multiple screens at different distances to create depth? The cab looks massive. Not even Sega in their day had light gun set-ups that look like that.

It seems like the game will have multiple game modes with that shooting gallery being one of them. 800w power supply... probably some mid tier PC hardware. Maybe an AMD Ryzen/ Radeon combo?

For comparison sake, here's an older GunBlade NY cab from Sega, which is much more reasonable in size:

Looks lofi, but otherwise, not weird to me.

There should be 10 CyberPunk products on the market by now (although the Anime is what I'm talking about, something that should exist and is good at expanding upon the concept while this iron is scorching.) This is a breakthrough franchise, the world of it is wide, and although CDPR is smart to have been selective with the branding, there's room for an isometric shooter (The Accent sort of was that) or a strategy/card spinoff or a demake or a more traditional RPG or some other game in the world.

Was expecting to see fancy 3D graphics, instead was met with some cheap NES looking gallery shooter. What a travesty.

Going by the description... it seems like there will be other modes, like a story mode and sniper mode with 3D graphics. But for some reason they focused on the shooting gallery thing, At least, I think that is the case. Hard to say. I was thrown off by that too.

But the cabinet uses some sort of layered projection thing to create a 3D effect. Which is why the cabinet is so huge. My guess... maybe they are using reflective surface glass with projectors hitting them at various angles?

Not sure why that's difficult to believe. We still see spin-off stuff like this. If Luigi's Mansion and Tomb Raider have arcade games, why not Cyberpunk?

What the hell is this? They could have made a VR game with cross platform support that uses the PSVR haptic feeback, and eye tracking for a neural link interface.

Check out the video - it's not a videogame, it seems to be a physical thing where you shoot little balls at targets.

Oh, I see. Interesting. really weird thing to throw an advertisement up for. I guess there are already working prototypes?
I assume it's available to order right now. There's loads of stuff about it on the manufacturer's website, including the operator's manual. You have to build this thing on site.

You can see how the targets are arranged in this part of the instructions. Four rows of 12 plain white targets, and the machine projects different things onto them, like enemies or extra ammo. Sounds pretty cool, hope I get to see one some day.
