They made kenway look like an even more edgy jack sparrow on this visual.
Anyway best asscreed for sure but they better change the underwater sections into something that don't totally suck...

Will they keep the scene where Edward notes that Adewale can't be captain because he is black and the crew would never accept it

Black Flag with ACS graphics would be really insane. Yeah they have perhaps bought themselves some years till the split.

Hopefully combat is overhauled.

I tried playing black flag a year ago and dropped it instantly due to the dreadfull AC combat from that era.

They may rewrite the whole thing if it is a remake, but I don't see why this scene in particular would be controversial.

damn, i miss when Ubi did good writing, Freedom Cry is the best AC DLC to this date.

Also there is absolutely nothing wrong with this scene.

Because even though it suggests the 18th century protagonist magically has the correct 21st century views on such things (as standard), the norm nowadays would be *at least* for all of the non-villain characters to hold those views, or even that the entire setting does and that Adewale was in fact the captain all along.

I'm not sure that 'yes our crew is realistically racist, now enjoy singing sea shanties with them for 50 hours' or 'the best the black character can be is sidekick to the white protagonist' will pass the purity test these days.

I mean, if they are struggling to stay afloat this is the most logical thing to be done.

It's arguably the one AC game that almost everyone loved unanimously and it also hasn't had a remake/remaster, (and by now could use one, at least for the characters, the water is still fantastic even for now)

That's overthinking it but very well could be that the writers do the same. We will see

All I care about is that they keep the shanties sounding authentic like the original. Don't want any instruments, sound editing or drums.

I was considering replaying Black Flag but I guess I'll wait now.
i just booted up and this news graphics cards really hates PhysX, or you turn that shit OFF, or the game turns into a stutter fest and what is this 60fps lock ? wasn't this game fps unlocked ?

This is probably gonna be just a Remaster, make zero sense to not make any previous games especially AC1 and di Black Flag.
I mean even the AC1 hasn't had a Remaster but 2-Rogue has.
Blackflag make sense to Remaster to add to the collection and AC1 makes sense to Remake.

AC4 make nowadays numbers 12 years ago, some place says that it sold 11million copies in the first year, and remember, that was way back at 2013.

Probably the best AC ever made. Can't trust Ubisoft on remaking this game btw, for 'modern audience'.
