CDPR posts Switch 2 Cyberpunk screens

Theres zero reason to play the game like this. Its much uglier.

A 8 inch OLED screen, or an infinitely uglier version of it docked on your TV?

Zero reason to play any 3rd party game on a switch. Its a First party machine.
people are flaming you for this but this is a rare good take from you

I'm here for Nintendo games. Cyberpunk can be played on a PC. Gimme more Mario

According to Nvidia is 10x more powerful than the Switch
That does not mean what it used to mean. Do you think the other consoles are not going to use new AI tech when they launch? I'm not knocking Nintendo for the Switch 2 hardware, they did what they should have done and made a better Switch. I do think it will have the same limitations as the Switch as the next generation matures. That did not seem to matter to this generation so it is not necessarily a bad thing. It is a Nintendo thing.

According to Nvidia is 10x more powerful than the Switch (Not even the PS3 to PS4 or PS4 to PS5 did that), it's going to run every single next gen game… Its a next gen Switch. And of course it's not going to be a PS5 in terms of performance, is a handheld.
It's not going to be XSS in terms of performance either, though slightly higher textures is a possibility if it indeed has 12 GB of RAM. And i would personally be careful with Nvidia marketing.

Cyberpunk 2p .077 FPS
Off screen here

Yeah, I actually hear it's only one frame; Nintendrones are being suckered into buying an $80 game that fills a 64GB game card that only has a single snapshot of the game.

Yeah, that's fine. I just wish we had more Nintendo games to showcase the device.
I know certain segments are poo-pooing MKW, but Nintendo's launching with a follow-up to a game that has sold roughly 70 million copies in MK8. Seems like a pretty good bet to me.

I feel the same way, I'm buying Switch 2 for its first party games and 3rd party games that are specially made for Switch 2.

Nah lol, it looks really good but no need to exaggerate.

The thing is that having a PS3++ in the palms of your hands in 2017 was okay-ish impressiveness-wise. But having a PS4++ in the palm of your hands while the PS5 graphics aren't (yet) a huge leap from the PS4 is much more impressive.

Yeah, I have a Deck, a Ps5 and a fairly fine pc with a 7900xtx and yet I'm very impressed.

Here's the thing though while you or him don't see the point in playing Cyberpunk on SW2 there are a ton of people that can/do.

Not everybody has a PC or want one despite what a lot of people here seem to think and this allows them to play this either on the go or all together if they are Switch only which a lot of people are.

I'm not saying you are doing this but a lot of people are so self centered that they can't see past their own bubble. Stuff like Cyberpunk and Elden Ring are gonna be big on SW2 when they come out.

It's nice to see some reason being sprinkled into the conversation. I love my Steam Deck OLED, but SH2 runs like trash on it. Didn't stop me from playing it on there, though.

Looks fine enough for what it is I suppose. Though you can tell that the resolution is quite low and there'll be quite a bit of visual noise and artifacts in distant details judging by the third picture. It'll be one of those games that's best played in handheld mode.
The real question is which Nvidia acronym CDPR uses to get the game's large dialogue options and mod menus working on a tiny 1080p handheld screen and on massive 4k screen.
Looking forward to a behind the scenes expose on the massive UI treatment that this game's undergone in the move from big screen 4k to tiny screen 1080 with optional big screen 4k via dock.

Exactly

Having a cross gen in palm of your hands is quite insane.

The I/O streaming/decompression engine + DLSS + RT + mesh shaders means it'll have ports that have peoples scratching their head how the fuck it got it to run.

Ampere was a paradigm shift for nvidia in GPU occupancy and it seems being unchained from windows PC / directX will be very interesting to see.

Very impressive. Looks very much like it's running PS5 quality settings.

Considering what the teams did with Switch 1, I assume we will see many things that shouldn't be possible on this little machine.

Yep. And being honest, my 3060 barely ran CP2077. It also plays quite woobly on the Deck, despite much tinkering - and I'm even sure I've put much more hours on my Deck than on the Switch that I bought day one.

The Switch 2 is looking objectively good. It will be insane if it delivers xbox series s+ performance, and honestly, it might do it.

/s of course

I still find funny people quote DF's analysis of the ND feed while there are hands-on videos of the game and interview with the devs and they're still like "nah 540p bro, DF said so"

Rich even says the 540p part is the marketing REEL shrinking down the footage on a CG render of switch to showcase portable mode and that it's likely an oddity of the making of the reel.

"actually think well he's he's got a 540p pixel count here but that seems to be on the market area shot and that seems to be a transition point into handheld play"

and this is used to pixel count?

What's the framerate and resolution. Need to see gameplay of this before i believe what they're showing us in simple screenshots.

I really don't understand why people in here are getting so shitty about the Switch 2. It looks like great hardware for what it is. I don't know what people were thinking Nintendo were going to release.
It looks like it's more capable then the Steam deck. And I bet Microsoft are a bit worried if they're planning on releasing a portable machine in the next few years. I think given the current climate, you'd be hard pressed to make a better machine for the money.

Funny though, as it's seems a lot of people have also been disappointment with the current gen of playstation and Xbox.

Thats the big issue, Nintendo is not going release a shitty console like they where expecting… And they are salty as fuck.
