Agreed. The last CoD I played MP for diligently was MW3 2011. This game gave me cultural shock after few days of its release when it turned into Fortnight over a fortnight

My 59GB update fails after 100%... gotta reboot Xbox and that's gonna force a FULL download of the game again. EVERY. DAMN. MAJOR. UPDATE. EVERY. DAMN. TIME. So annoying! Luckily i have 2GB internet (Xbox max is 1GB) but it should download fairly quick. Ish. Sigh.

I tried totally uninstalling and reinstalling everything... it just sat there doing nothing. For like 30 mins. So i deleted the queue again and only selected the BO6 items and boom it's moving. I'll circle back around and install the MW2/MW3 items after the BO6 stuff finishes i guess.

The update should work now, xbox sent me a message the issue was resolved and I could update just fine.

So the game on console now has a console only crossplay tab in the settings but after a few games mine reverts back to full crossplay on playing on the Pro

I'm pleasantly shocked at how great Warzone is now. I hope they don't change a thing, but I imagine the streamers are crying now and will probably get their way at some point.

They actually added the playstation plus bundle for game pass users, should automatically be redeemed, couple of operator skins, couple of blueprints, some emotes.
It's also called "pack 1" for game pass, so there might be more coming in the future.

I haven't logged in since the latest update as I was on vacation. I will check it out and see. Though I have always had a stupid bug (I assume) where I filter my multiplayer choice to Team Death Match only, and the filter shows 1/14. But when the game gets updates or patches, they change my filter and add other playlists. So I have to go BACK IN and filter them out again.
How hard can it be to keep the state of a filter?

I found a work around after you select console only for MP you must close the game for it to save and once you restart its on the console only selection

MP runs like absolute shit on XSX after the season 3 reloaded update. I played Stakehouse, the nuketown reskin, and the new sub map - a few Molotovs and smokes sends the framerate tumbling in all of them.
You need to 100% the battle pass just to get back 1100 cod points for the next battlepass. Thats new levels of stinginess.
And the obnoxious skins.
Wow. No longer excited about any new COD. They are all on the same engine now so will play identically, and the setting no longer matters as these crazy skins will be there from day 1.

Battle Pass progress seems to get slower with each season. 100% last time I ever bought it. Even with the Battle Pass double XP it felt like extremely hard work.

This is because a) somebody - MS? Activision? - got very stingy with both how many points are available, and how quickly they can be gathered, and b) the game is just not very good with performance issues and the horrible SBMM that makes every match a sweaty chore.
I hold no hope for future COD games as they will be on the same engine with the same matchmaking, driven by the same micro transactions and the hideous out-of-place skins jumping and sliding about everywhere. The franchise has pretty much been ruined for me, and it's probably past the point of no return.

hmm i havent noticed any frame drops or anything. pretty smooth for me but i just play ranked so no mollies or smokes
edit: regarding wall running, i hope they keep that crap out of the next game. hopefully its just a singular mode or something. i cant stand that shit

- How is it possible that some guys, minutes after the game starts have: perks, red weapons (silenced and all), heartbeat sensor, mask, extra armor thing?
- I only get my loadout when it drops in. Can you aquire it in a other way? If so how and how much does it cost?
- Do you guys have general (good) tips? or a video that I can watch

Well said. I bounced off blackops 6 when the Seth Rogan skin released and haven't bothered to return. I felt like a hamster running in a wheel to a certain extent. The peek-a-boo with guns style death match just wore thin, not to mention it feels fundamentally broken at times with matchmaking and even hit detection.
Thank god Helldivers 2 is knocking it out of the park right now bc I wouldn't have shit to play.

I am done with Season pass on call of duty games. or any skins or guns or anything related. they are becoming super greedy with the micotransacation its becoming super annoying
on top of that they gimped the progress of the season pass each game so you have to play and grind much much more just to finish the damn thing. they can fuck off.

They have slowed down the amount of Battle Pass XP earned to the point that I got tired of the game after doing the BP for 3 seasons.

You can get a bunch of cash from doing events like bounties and those secure points things (don't recall what they're actually called). Forgot how much it costs as I haven't played for awhile but you buy it from any buy station, just like you would for armor plates, uav, etc. After buying it you throw down the red smoke and a care package comes down.

I don't think it's so much they slowed down the BP progress, if they did it's only slightly, I'm not seeing much difference between afk'ing in DMZ in MWII, or playing MWZ or BO6 zombies.
The biggest difference is there's barely any double xp events, MWIII had so many 2x bp xp events, you could easily finish the BP by just playing when those were live; now we get this bullshit where they enable double xp for only rank and guns and exclude bp xp.
