GTA 6 seems to be a unicorn, its united people in a way you never see in today's rage filled, AAA space.

related to the first comment, I like GTAs but I dont LOVE GTAs, the last gta I liked was San andreas, I think gta 4 is super clunky and stiff, gta V kinda the same...the R* way of gameplay. I dont know how to put it, put I like R* games cause there are fun in a 1 and done way. But they dont play well... so like an interactive movie. I feel like most r* games are super sluggish in the gameplay department, the auto aim is way too strong. Im sorry, english isnt my first language.

There were some tweets that Elon was promoting last year pointing out how Lucia looks trans and not feminine enough. They were ratio'd almost immediately by the fanbase. This didnt happen with other fanbases because the fanbases were fractured by devs trying to subvert expectations or push an agenda. Rockstar is simply giving fans what they want. Death Stranding 2 comments are also extremely positive.
 
If GTA has actual good gunplay, I wouldn't be surprised if GTA online eventually becomes bigger than Fortnite. The hype for this game is easily the biggest of any entertainment in history

Publishers and devs have been fighting GamerGate for a decade now and people are sick of it. There is a reason why Spiderman 2 fell off so fast and Insomniac didnt even bother with DLC for it.

Depends on how much you like heavy controlling characters and animation priority and realism.

Not everyone like weightless characters that skate on the ground and can turn 360° immediately, many apprecciate having some weight and inertia.

Opinions are like assholes, many pople also think that the past 2 zelda with their archaic lock on system, ultra basic dogshit combat, weird control scheme with the run button on the freakin triangle\y and without a dedicated evade button like 99,99% of modern action games are the pinnacle of gameplay, so...

Bullshit. You get stuck on the terrain more times than you can count. One thing I hate about some games, is the terrain detection and how stupid your character can be and not climb up an ankle high stone, but then leap up with ease when you didn't want them too on terrain that's taller than your character.

The best terrain detection gameplay I've ever experienced in a game with how it felt and your character reacted to the most minute little divots and never got immersion breaking "stuck" was Death Stranding.

This "completely different from anything on the market" doesn't have to be with "poop" controls, even less with added 400+ms of input lag like in RDR2. Why do the cars controls so great but the chars so crappy??

Who said shit gameplay? I said shit controls not necessarily the same thing. I believe if the controls were more responsive the game would get even more praise.

Like i said many people don't find the controls that poopy or maybe they understand what rockstar is aiming for even if the result is not for everyone.

I don't know what to say to you, i take some input lag and inertia over so many games with weightless characters that feel like they are skating on ice.

For someone who boasts about everything needs to be the "best of the best" visually, you sure want to play dated control schemes in that veneer.

I never hear these complaints about car or flight simulation games from the PCMR types, I wonder why that is?

Same here. As a graphics whore, I can definitely admit to finding it absolutely fascinating as a work of industrialized audio and visual art that is just so impressive, I mean it's essentially perfect from a rendering standpoint. That being said, the actual game itself just doesn't appeal to me at all, and these types of games almost never do. They're just not for me, though I recognize their immense quality and respect it.

Even wildlands feels arcade-y compared to something like rdr2 to me, also ubisoft animations are nowhere near rockstar level, even without considering the euphoria engine that make rockstar games unique.

Go back to max payne 1-2 and the difference is gargantuan, even just recovering from a dive on the ground feels completely different.

Input lag and retard drunk character are not only not simulating anything as in first person camera GTA V eliminates some exaggerated inertia that has in third person and simulates and immerges much better.
