rofl i remember the likes of timthetitsman (and so many other twitch/youtubers) shilling it so hard near release. Did his best to pretend like its worth even wasting your ssd space on such shovelware.
 
I'm honestly surprised. I expected COD to be the perfect option for casual mainstream phone users. What went wrong Cod always had a winning sales formula, was the performance terrible?

it was just extremely confusing marketing and a confusing strategy.

there was already was Call of Duty Mobile, and within Call of Duty Mobile there was already a Battle Royale mode.
then they announced and released Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, another mobile CoD with a Battle Royale mode that is a completely separate game to Call of Duty Mobile...

like wtf was that strategy?

the correct way to do this would have been to use the existing CoD Mobile and update it to have more of a connection to the console games.

I think a lot of people already played CoD Mobile, and didn't want to start over in a different mobile CoD game that also runs worse on top of that.

Thats CoD mobile (and its big) not warzone mobile
Part of the reason warzone existed is because CoD mobile is not ATVI game but Tencent's and ATVI/MS has to share revenue with it. They probably wanted to gradually move away. And failed.

CoD Mobile is a fantastic product, and I played it a lot, but I bounced off Warzone Mobile and I can't quite put my finger on why except that it felt "disorienting" to play, but I can't explain what I mean by that, it's just a feeling I had.
 
COD Mobile is the best mobile game. It feels just right, has a ton of content, is very generous and the devs listen to feedback. It's everything that's fun about COD.

Warzone Mobile was pure diarrhea.
 
This was actually a fun mobile game, I played on a backbone controller when my kids had dr appointments and stuff. Crazy to see it shut down but yeah it required a very powerful mobile device to run well. Oh well.
 
Wont be shocked if warzone actual get shut down too with bf6 & gta 6 comin over the next year its gonna be hard to maintain that shit
