AI videos

I want to see a funny AI video of Warhammer 40,000 that does NOT include Joe Rogan or Alex Jones.

This one might not be safe for work. Nonetheless, it's incredible. Enlarging the screen you can really see the details.

A lot of these AI videos are doing such amazing things aesthetically that it makes me sad that we don't have movies today that try to imitate that 50's look for example. There are so many things that could elevate adventure movies and truly make the viewer feel like they've stepped into a completely different world. Hopefully moviemakers get inspired by these videos even if they don't use AI itself in their movies.

and major films today look like horribly lit, green screened CGI crap anyway:

...hilarious to watch the people raging over AI's future in cinema when it already looks better than the work of most current CGI-saturated cinematography

The "acting" is surprisingly good in that second video. It's just crazy how far AI videos have come in such a short time ... :messenger_hushed:

They act like they understand the joke / implication / subtext of the scene every time; non-professional actors wouldn't be able to get close to this level of appropriate reading of the material, facial expressions, etc. It's rather astonishing really.

Already objectively better content than Disney produces with the franchise; I'm not exaggerating. Because the world around him (the equipment, weapons, etc) looks better than non-AI CGI content, the gap has closed. With this tech you could make much better films.

This is why I hope AI steamrolls the old intellectual property laws... massive corporations have proven that their HR-ified content makes our lives worse and traps our iconic stories and characters inside a straightjacket of their own agendas. It's time to actively demolish the legal frameworks that keep them afloat.
