Meta Quest 3 | OT + Review Thread |

Keeping watching until he talks about the visuals. This looks insane. No PC needed.

oh man, can't wait to play this

The same devs made The Room VR, which was perfectly built (still should play it today if anyone hasn't -- use Quest Games Optimizer to bump up the res on Q3 and it'll look beautiful).

brilliant vr devs

The guys doing VRChat content are heroes. I played VR versions of games I keep dreaming about, like Ridge Racer 1, Daytona USA, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star Online, etc. There is not a Wave Race game yet but there are at least two solid Jetski games which can actually make me a bit nauseous, which is rare because nothing has given me motion sickness for years.

So Deadpool is rumored to be the next be Quest game coming out. Supposedly, we'll know more about it on June 6th via Reddit and it will launch this year.

If it's similar quality to Batman, that will be amazing. Still shocks me how good that game looks and plays.

This is be legit. The legendary teambeef is handling it. They make better mods than full fledged AAA VR ports.

What are Meta's studios doing anyway? I expect one big game a year but there hasn't been an announcement for this year. I really wish they didn't waste Ready at Dawn.

Wait until next week

World War Z was just announced
I'm cautiously optimistic but it's a bit hard to get excited for another Zombie game. VR already has so many of those games simply because devs assume that slow ass Zombies are all the average player can handle. Though I guess, WWZ zombies aren't like that.

I mean a strong Deadpool possibility and WWZ in the span of 2 days is pretty crazy if you ask me. We haven't even got to the June 6th showcase yet.

So Demeo x DnD and Thief VR, not bad summer in terms of announcements so far. Mildly disappointed that Lumines Arise is PSVR2 and Steam only, I would have preferred a stand-alone version.

Tetris Effect is available standalone and might be better anyway.
Sour Grapes I know.
I already have Tetris Effect but I would have loved to have Lumines as well. I guess I can always play it from Steam but I just really prefer stand alone if possible. It's weird cause Tetris, Humanity, and Rez are all on the Quest but Lumines isn't going to be.

Probably going to be cross-buy since it's from the Metro VR devs.
I missed this until now, awesome announcement -- they made 7th Guest VR which was very polished and ran great on Q3.

looks amazing
