I know this is going to fall on deaf years, the Battlefield subreddit is already a shitshow but if anyone's willing to listen please do not pre-order even if you like what you see and EVEN if you enjoy the beta.
Wait for the full game to be released, I know people look at BF4 with rose-tinted glasses but even that game was some of the most piece of shit software DICE had put out into the world until that point. From then on only BF1 released in a decent state, every other game was fucking awful at release.

So please save your money, there will be plenty of time to buy and play after the first impressions are out in October.

I'm saying this as a fanboy whom of all the mainline games has only missed 2142 and 2042.

Sorry if preordering gives me a few extra days of the beta that is all it will take for me

Either preorder from Amazon, get your code then cancel or my local Gamestop lets me preorder for $5 prints me a code then lets me cancel

Either way I am playing those extra days of beta

Absolutely understand where you are coming from and I fully agree.

However pre-ordering digital games is fucking retarded, unless you are so bad with money that you can't hold onto it till release. Even then you might die in a horrific final destination type way days before release and that money would be better off going to the dogs home rather than EA.

This be the only full price game I've bought since bfv, so I'll preorder, yes access early is silly but if it's one of the last games I buy in the next few years, itz really not much, I'll easily play 500hrs regardless

So I know should boycott the preorder, but whatever, bf6 is the only on release game I buy (other than forefront, a vr BF game lol)

Taken just now. If creators are giving out codes then the Community manager was bullshitting earlier and the Beta is closed in some fashion. Obviously pre-ordering will get you early access to this "open" beta lol.

If this is even at least like BF4, its a game I will be playing for the next 10 years. And yes I remember BF4 being a unplayable shitshow in the early days with all the rubber banding, but they have got better with each new release over the years. Hoping for the best, but at the same time I want to show my support if they are indeed bringing BF back to what it should have always been.

Come on, you don't like playing as Stan Smith or Beavis/Butthead while turning people in skeletons with your pay to win guns? COD has jumped the shark in my opinion and like you I have my fingers crossed that BF6 will be a great game so I can switch, Activision has veered so far off course it isn't even funny.
