Battlefield 6 Multiplayer reveal - 31st July 2025 (11:30 PT // 14:30 ET // 19:30 UK)

That small clip did nothing for me 😂

No wonder EA and DICE will never go out of business- gamers are retards. Will buy shit in shit out.

Not saying this is shit but a 14 second clip of whatever with limp bizkit got people hard.

You could have made this post much less condescending to people who are excited for this Battlefield based on Labs and leaks by simply leaving it at the first sentence.

You say DICE will never go out of business because their customers are retarded....their customers being us literally the people in this thread who like Battlefield.
In the same post you backtrack "Not saying this is shit".....mate say it with your chest or dont say it at all.

Yes we are Battlefield fans in here we want good Battlefield games, if it looks promising even a single screenshot is a start let alone 12 seconds of footage and other than 2042 which took forever to fix but IS in a good place when have DICE been giving us shit in shit out for you to so confidently call us retarded?

Battlefield hasn't been amazing since bad company 2. There I said it.

Good times. Hesitant to say but this looks great.

BF6 is the saviour we need, let's see how today's reveal goes.

Everything looking very good so far! Though I just want price and date from it, don't imagine there is much to be shown that would hype me even more.

So for this one point: they can do this and launch with so called thematically appropriate skins yet they can also start adding anything else at any point. My idea would be to just give some kind of option for you as a player as a choice to see everything with default skin.

That's the leak, and sound fine ok but I meant officially, like I want to see that on the actual steam store page. With most EA game the usual case is cheaper key sites do not sell the Steam keys only the EA app or whetever it is called these days.

I mean it was pretty obvious but still

Game coming out in 2 months and labs still had a bunch of placeholders everywhere.

Labs build is around 8 months before launch I believe.

There are several animations that haven't been added yet, for instance the revive/drag animation seen in that leak last night. Weapon reload is also probably a placeholder.

Perfect time for us in the UK. :messenger_sunglasses:

Playstation ones are usually the worst timed for us.

Hahaha thats exactly what I was thinking for most Europeans isnt this about perfect time?
After work but not too late like most US centric shows which start at like midnight or later.

the movement in what we've seen thus far looks really slow/clunky but let's see I'm intrigued

it has movement of bfv, pace of bf4, from what i played. clunky could be down to the alpha, since some of the assest werent fully rendered, so invisible rumble would get in the way some times, but thats not really a movement issue, more a map/render one

no tactical sprint from what i remember, but vaulting, basic diving and sliding were in, but used more as a last resort, rather than, sliding round corners and jump spamming, which i appreciated

I'm just so used to how fluid and fast black ops 6 is now that I guess I'll just have to wait for my brain to re-adjust

well hate to be that guy, but if you want CoD adhd movement, you know the answer, thats the last thing i want in a BF game, is COD retarted movement system, and most BF veterans of the franchise do not want this either (this isnt singling you out by the way)

Funny, whenever I play Hell Let Loose, Rising Storm or Squad and then go back to playing Battlefield I think similarly of BF's movement which feels so very fluid compared to milsims and simcades.
Having a simcade like Hell Let Loose but with a AAA budget, with the audio, graphics and movement from a Battlefield game would be a dream come true to me.

What time is that for The Netherlands? I tried to convert time of UK to Netherlands but then I get 17:30 but when I convert ET to our time I get 20:30. Wtf.

Depends what Cod players you're talking about. I would call myself one, but I've hated almost everything they've put out since 2019. Long given up hoping for the return of the glory days but there will be many like me who are starving for a new fps to play.

Trying to attract COD players is what led this franchise to the mess it is today.
Used to be, every faction used to feel different, now they try to homogenize them as much as they can, give every faction every weapon, give every class every weapon, watered down gun mechanics, vehicles that are equal in all aspects but appearance.
Fuck that, make authentic factions with authentic equipment and then balance the game around that, but I guess balance is a lost art in modern AAA FPS development...

And the thing is Battlefield will never be able to dethrone COD, trying to attract those players is a lost cause.
Just make a good game, the name of the franchise is big enough, players will come, if the game is good then it won't matter if the game is different because word of mouth will do its job.
There's a reason destruction is the most talked about feature about these games to this day, it's unique and it's the one feature no other military FPS has been able to replicate.

Retarded?

It gives you more freedom and opportunity to surprise your opponent and it gives the game a nice flow.

Sure, it can open a wide skill gap, but that's just the nature of competitive FPS games.

What I see here reminds of the MW II movement but I won't really pass judgement until I play the game

October 10th.

Another thing that's intriguing me from that clip is the Chinook, with the squad and attack vehicle respawn mechanics and all will having those huge transport helis wandering about be justified?
It might be just a singleplayer clip, but if it is from multiplayer and it's actual gameplay and not just intro animations or something of the sort then I'm curious how they'll balance that and make it a viable solution.
