Which I imagine happened.Especially for a new ip. Normally you would put up the budget tremendously after such a success.
We'll see the results soon.

Instead their don't even bother themselves to reach even the quality of toshima E3 2018 gameplay which they didn't achieve it on ps4
Yes expect anything thing from sony bullshit management this genMaybe SP also had a gaas game cancelled and they had to put he sequel faster together than they normally would have done.

that's underperformingTsushima was not an enormous seller, it'll be fine.
Sony has jumped on the "engagement" bandwagon, so sales are no longer relevant.that's underperforming

13m+ as of September 2024.
Not sure, you'd imagine there will be better trailers when people are back from holiday to take the work back off the internSo sony will undersell the game until its released?

Sad fact but trueSony isnt as focused on graphics as they used to.
Imo The only technically impressive 1p games were demons souls remake and HFW.
And TLOU and Ratchet and Clank and.....Sony isnt as focused on graphics as they used to.

Anyway, they're not going to, at a time of financial strength, produce a sequel to an incredibly successful new IP that is technically inferior to it's predecessor from the previous generation.

Weird, they were just telling me above that it was actually pretty fantastic.that's underperforming

Sony apparently forgot that they don't need to report hardware shipments and software unit sales anymore, lol.Well a day one ps+ release could definitely do those gameplay videos justice. So they can have their "engagement"!
I imagine It'll look better but maybe not "best in class".I actually forgot about ratchet and clank. That one was impressive too yes.
No not inferior, but its pretty much on par. It has dlc vibes all over.

Definitely not a PS3 game despite the crazy talk ITT.
There quite a few "Ps3 level" references in the thread.Didn't know the first entry was ps3 though.
It will look alright. It's just weird they are selling this aa game for 80 euros.
Edit: my badThe Game is about art style not graphics like the Souls games.
It looks good in general and great on the Open world landscapes.

80 is the new normal, sadly
He's saying that, similar to Souls games, the game focuses on art direction over graphical fidelity.
Calling this a budget title is just silly.Imo it looks basically on par with GOT.
No for budget titles its not normal. And this doesn't look aaa to me.
i thought i was going crazyHe's saying that, similar to Souls games, the game focuses on art direction over graphical fidelity.
Souls games by and large look like shit. I'm not seeing anything about this game that screams creative "art direction" at all. He's saying that, similar to Souls games, the game focuses on art direction over graphical fidelity.

Shit, they could've stripped out all hi-res textures and went more cartoonish with insane lighting and it would be more impressive.
I mean you ever played the first? Because it's not absolutely as you said.Because Nioh is actually challenging.
Judging by the last video, This game you can play while scrolling on the phone at the same time, since enemies just stand there waiting for their turn to die.
This is made for modern audiences with very little attention spans.
I think when the game is released you'll see that's not the case.Running the same graphics as five years ago is kinda cheap imo.

Always kind of funny that demon souls, the first souls game, is going to look the best souls game likely even when the next gen launches.
So, because the trailers are underwhelming, no way will you buy this, no matter how good the actual released product is?Its not the first ps5 exclusive with underwhelming graphics this gen so I dont think I will be surprised technically.
If its a half decent game I will borrow it from a friend. No way I spend money on this after the poor showings.
Come on man, don't be disingenuous - the original Souls trilogy looked like dog shit. I like those games, too. The Demon's Souls remake looks fantastic but I wasn't referring to that one.
Hard disagree, Dark Souls 3 is a 2016 game and looked great.Come on man, don't be disingenuous - the original Souls trilogy looked like dog shit. I like those games, too. The Demon's Souls remake looks fantastic but I wasn't referring to that one.
Thinking about it, I think I know what they have been doing for 5 years: Porting their engine to PC, doing the game on myriads of PC configs then porting it to PS5. That could explain it.
No need to come-on-man him. That was a PS4 game and it's really not far from this except the shorter draw distances.
That's a bluepoint remaster, graphically wise, fromsoft games are a generation behind.
So, because the trailers are underwhelming, no way will you buy this, no matter how good the actual released product is?
Solid logic, my friend.
Like no? Where did you read it's decima engine? From what I know it's the own engine of SP.Decima, same engine that Horizion Forbidden West and Death Stranding 2 used. So the engine has definitely been upgraded since Tsushima.
Edit: Apparently not![]()
Yes, I am now aware of that, which is why I added the edit. I thought I read somewhere that Ghost ran on Decima, but that isn't the case.Like no? Where did you read it's decima engine? From what I know it's the own engine of SP.
you wrote "If its a half decent game I will borrow it from a friend. No way I spend money on this after the poor showings."Why? I have other stuff to play in October and if the product cheaps out why would I still buy it?

The don't understand your point, it's not really making sense.
We should've gotten a Dark Souls remake by now.Always kind of funny that demon souls, the first souls game, is going to look the best souls game likely even when the next gen launches.
It doesn't make any sense.I don't want to pay for a game that looks last-gen, but if it turns out to be innovative against all odds, I'll consider to play it without paying for it tough. Whats the problem?
It doesn't make any sense.
If it turns out to be a great game and looks much better than you currently expect, you want to play it, why would you be so determined to not pay for it?
We already have a pretty good idea how's its gonna look and they deepdived into the gameplay aspects.
It looks like a less impressive version of assassin's creed shadows. It might be worth a playthrough but definitely not to pay money.
Not likely. but like all the others big Playstation games it will sell about half of the previous game... while it costed a lot more to make than the previous outing. So this game is dead huh, Gaf?
Demon souls is the original dark souls so...We should've gotten a Dark Souls remake by now.
