It's amazing to live in a country made up of varying opinions and mindsets, yet we're quickly turning into something where "if you don't agree, I hate you and you're an enemy."

Humans have always been tribalist but 20 years of social media has shown that we collectively lack the intelligence to handle a wide range of cultures and opinions. Ironically social media was intended to connect us but has merely served to create hard lines of division. I honestly think we lack the capacity to be this connected to others lives.

It's also, and probably not surprising, where much of the gaming community has migrated to. At least people who are at major outlets, not just everyday casual gamers who are probably mostly a mixed bag. Most gaming videos I see from major gaming outlets now have the people put their bluesky handle on the bottom. It's not surprising because a large portion of that community is extremely progressive.
